Mounjaro's done for me. Now what?

Done cycles of sema for three years now, usually two to five month stretches, never had problems. Stayed under point 66 ml mostly at point 25 to point 5. Seems like everyone is different. Looking into peptides now since I gained some back but dealing with hormone stuff.

food triggers used to wreck me—hives, anaphylaxis, the works. even mild reactions would leave bumps on my neck for weeks. plus scalp stuff that hurt. since starting this med and staying careful, barely had a flare. one slip-up triggered it once but that's it.

244 to 162 in 11 months is substantial - the habits matter more in maintenance than they did during loss.

244.5 to 161.7 in 11 months is a substantial result, but the realization that looking different doesn't automatically fix the internal part is one of the more honest moments this process produces. What comes after the number is often where the real work starts.

20 years of PCOS and insulin resistance before reaching for Mounjaro is the delayed version of a story a lot of people here have. 244.5 to 161.7 in 11 months for the OP is the result of actually using the tool that works for the specific hormonal picture. The decision to finally try it after years of managing without is usually something that clicks rather than something people ease into. What made the difference this time?

The friend disapproval situation is easier when the results are this visible - 11 kg of real health improvement makes the calculus pretty clear. The decisions you make about your health aren't subject to his approval.
