Reconstituting with my insulin syringes - okay?

Insulin syringes work fine for reconstitution - the key difference is the gauge and length you pick for the injection versus the mixing, since you'll want a longer needle for pulling the bac water through the stopper than for the subq injection itself. Short 29-31 gauge works well for the actual injection.

Pharmacy-available insulin pen needles are interchangeable for this purpose - the gauge and length you need are the same regardless of brand or pen type. Walk-in to any pharmacy and they're over the counter.
