i get it — we expect too much from them. but wanting them to actually send what they advertise instead of a vial of junk doesn't seem unreasonable. the bad product sucks but bad customer service when it happens is worse. they could handle it like other vendors do.
 
Reconstituted reta in the fridge is stable for about 4-6 weeks. Keep it away from light, don't freeze it, and avoid shaking. You're already thinking about this right - that's the main thing.
 
The refrigerated window for reconstituted Reta varies based on what it was reconstituted in and how it is stored. BAC water extends stability compared to sterile water. The variables to control: draw from a cold vial, minimize any freeze-thaw cycles, and keep it upright. If you are reconstituting a smaller portion of a vial rather than the full amount, you can be more precise about the timing window for each batch.
 
Labeling every vial is the most important organizational step once you have multiple compounds in rotation - going by memory means one unlabeled dose when you're tired or distracted becomes a real problem. Date and compound name at minimum.
 
The lab freezer upgrade path is worth thinking about once the collection gets to the point where a household freezer is sharing space with actual food - temperature stability and the ability to organize by compound with consistent access is where the lab-grade option pays for itself.
 
Personally pushed early vials out to 10 weeks before. Just wipe it down beforehand and afterward each use and store it in the middle of the fridge, never the door.
 
Barely take the vial out of the fridge at all, but the loaded syringe usually sits out anywhere from thirty seconds to two minutes before I inject. Wouldn't want to warm the whole vial each time, way too much hassle.
