Mounjaro: Truly Life-Changing!

totally feel that. people say be happy at any size but i just hated how i looked. dreaded photos, hated picking clothes. lost 60 lbs. was content before but way happier now. plus the medicine cuts inflammation too. congrats.

Total life shift. Lost 108 pounds and it was genuinely life-changing.

29 lbs in 13 weeks and the knee pain going down alongside the weight is the second outcome people underestimate. The quality of life change from pain reduction and better movement is often what people actually notice day to day more than the number on the scale.

Using Mounjaro since August 2022. BMI sat at 42, overweight through childhood and teens, obese the whole adult life since. Every diet got tried, regular workouts too, nothing moved the needle. Took 24 weeks on Mounjaro just to lose the first ten pounds, and two and a half years total to hit the goal, a full hundred pounds down. Maintaining within eight pounds of that goal for the past year and a half. Running 12.5 to 15mg weekly for maintenance, might drop to 10 eventually to test the waters. No plans to ever stop taking this or whatever comes next in this class though. The body genuinely needs it to function well, same as the medication needed for rheumatoid arthritis.
