Ozempic stopped working?

Dying to hear someone maintained after stopping. So stressed because I heard I'd be on Ozempic forever. Thank you for this reassurance.
 
Stopped with edibles forever ago after two bad experiences. Used to smoke a bit, then Wegovy came around and it took 2 months before I even tried again. When I did, I was wrecked off like 5 hits. Decided it's just not worth it for me on this med.
 
Ozempic losing effect after years is receptor downregulation - the response curve flattens at chronic dosing. Most people at that stage either need a dose adjustment, a switch to Tirz for the dual mechanism, or a structured break to restore sensitivity. Oz just stopped doing anything for me. A1C started climbing again too, went from a low of 5.8 back up to 7.6, with the weight creeping on over a few months.
 
More just talking about the effect fading out. Works great when it's actually working, but it's been almost three months now with basically nothing noticeable. Not really using it for weight loss either, my weight's stayed stable throughout, even before I started on Mounjaro. For me the actual benefit was appetite control and managing blood sugar, and unfortunately neither one seems to be there anymore.
