Anyone else kinda like hunger?

The distinction between signal attenuation and signal recalibration is underappreciated in GLP-1 discussions - most people expect simple reduction, but what some experience is the urgency component dropping while the early recognition signal becomes more distinct. The raiding-the-cabinet pattern specifically reflects delayed recognition rather than volume; when the urgency compressor gets removed, the earlier quieter signal becomes audible for the first time.

Missing the hunger signal is a real phenomenon - the appetite suppression on GLP-1s removes something that most people spent years treating as an inconvenience, and some find the absence disorienting rather than pleasant. The resistance training point holds regardless of that - muscle preservation and body composition respond better with structured exercise even when calorie restriction is happening passively.

Recognizing that the end-of-cycle cravings and extra eating the day before the shot come from caloric deficit is actually the key insight - your body is asking for fuel, not fighting the medication. The hunger signal at day 6 or 7 is real and different from the food noise the medication usually suppresses.

The 'I'd happily take this daily if needed' framing is the right benchmark - when the medication is giving you something you genuinely want rather than something you're tolerating, the cost-benefit is completely different. The maelstrom description is the best word for what that constant state actually is.

2 shots in and the appetite suppression already that complete after the second shot is an early strong response signal. The hunger disappearing not because of nausea but just not thinking about food is exactly what people mean when they describe the mechanism working. The 'kind of miss hunger' feeling the OP describes is something a lot of people get to after months - probably not where your head is at week 2.

Skipped a week entirely and didn't feel hungry at all, which makes me wonder if this stays active in the body longer than seven days and whether the weekly schedule's even necessary. Personally leaning toward no.
