9 months on GLP-1 - my journey!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
179 to 156 in 13 weeks at max 2mg and 4mg proving too much is a clean dose ceiling story. The OP's 9 months and 15 more since the last check-in shows what consistent progress at the right dose looks like over time. Are you staying at 2mg for the long run or reconsidering the 4mg experiment once you're further in?

Starting at 2mg and moving to 4mg right on schedule is the standard approach. First foray means you're still in the early months of figuring out what your body does with it. 9 months in on the OP's timeline shows you what the trajectory can look like. The ups and downs are real but the direction tends to hold.

This story might not be what's hoped for. Diagnosed with a hormonal condition around twenty, first birth in the mid-thirties, second a few years after that.

Starting with the tougher part. Only a modest amount came off on this medication over more than a year. The only real loss happened while also doing a strict low-carb approach alongside it. Sticking to that consistently would probably mean losing more, but honestly, the freedom around food lately has felt so good that it hasn't been a priority.

Good news though, conception happened despite the hormonal condition. A fertility-supporting medication helped with ovulation, and that's ultimately what led to pregnancy.

More good news, that same hormonal condition tends to respond quite favorably to a low-carb approach. A large amount came off years after the last pregnancy, well before starting this medication, over about six months on a strict version of that diet. Stayed under a tight daily carb limit the whole time, tracking everything eaten religiously. So it's absolutely doable with enough discipline.

Suggestion would be pairing this medication with at least a low-carb approach to see faster results within a similar timeframe.

Good luck on the path ahead!
