The weight's dropping faster than I want and it just won't level off.
I get that sounds like a good problem, but past a certain age, looking too thin isn't flattering and I'm heading there quickly.
At 5'6 and 134 pounds, I'm also hauling around 8-10 pounds of loose skin across my stomach, so my doctor figures my actual body weight is really somewhere in the low 120s.
Went from a size 24 all the way to a 4, now trying on 2s here and there. Racks barely stock 4s, let alone 2s, and if this keeps up I'll end up looking gaunt. Ten more pounds gone and I'll dip under a healthy BMI.
Stopping GLPs entirely scares me, so I've tapered down to 2.5mg of Tirz, yet the weight keeps sliding off anyway. Tirz still wipes out my hunger completely.
What's really complicating things is the biliopancreatic duodenal switch surgery I underwent in 2021 (an extreme bariatric procedure). It left permanent malabsorption behind, and while that helped the weight come off originally, now it's fighting me on braking this process.
For context, if I eat 1500 calories high in protein, my body might only absorb somewhere between 950 and 1200 of that. Even hitting 1200 calories is a struggle, which drags my absorption rate way down
