Strong response on 2.5 mg Mounjaro: could I be a super responder?

Nearly six weeks in at the lowest mounjaro strength and appetite control is still remarkably strong. Food noise has essentially disappeared. Addictive tendencies have settled down a lot too, barely crave a drink out anymore, and when I do it tops out around one to three. Feels like something genuinely rewired inside, and this medication clearly still has a firm grip. Even notice a mood boost and sharper thinking the day following each shot, zero fog, all positive. Roughly five percent of total body weight gone over the last month, from 85 kilos down to 80.5. Wondering if anyone else has experienced something along these lines. Would this count as a strong responder pattern? And is it realistic staying at this lower strength while still eventually reaching a twenty percent total loss? Partly asking given cost, a lower dose keeps things far more affordable. Not hesitant to increase later, but given how well this is already working, really hoping it signals a sustainable long term fit.

Yep, that lines up exactly with what happened to me. Started at the lowest dose and felt absolutely nothing until reaching a much higher one months later.

Plenty of people report appetite control feeling more intense on Mounjaro specifically, though everyone's response varies. Just approach it like a fresh start and give your body the time it needs to adjust.

Appetite dropped completely at 2.5mg but came right back once I moved to 5mg, and it's stayed that way since. Genuinely not sure why the appetite returned. Still eating less overall since I fill up faster, but even a little hunger feels bizarre while on mounjaro, not a sensation I'm looking to have again.

Like with any medication, everyone's response varies a lot. It takes time for the dual-action compound to actually accumulate in your system. Some people notice a fast, strong reaction while others need a month or two before anything shifts. For me personally, the food chatter vanished the very next morning after my first shot. But I genuinely think that was just placebo, the medication hadn't had nearly enough time to actually build up or start working in my body yet.

My dose since July 10 has been the 2.5 mg Mounjaro. The doctor's call is to hold there for several more weeks, given how well it's going. Down twelve pounds. My first shot came with a terrible nightmare that had me yelling awake, never repeated, and I figure my blood sugar dropped fast overnight since I injected right before bed. The mental effects are my favorite part. I've changed into somebody else with way more clarity. Two years of horrible brain fog, which I put down to perimenopause, but now I suspect my high A1C was most of it. I'm sharper and can focus better, and my mood is lighter and more hopeful than it's been for ages. Down days still happen, just bounce back faster.
