Hunger & Cravings Coming Back?!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
the returning cravings as a nutritional signal rather than tolerance is the more accurate read for most people at week five - the low food volume on GLP-1 makes it easy to run consistently under protein and fiber targets, and both of those deficits drive hunger and craving signals that the medication can't fully suppress. the regularity and composition of what you're eating matters as much as the quantity

Appetite suppression seems to swing a lot depending on the person. A lot of folks report hunger getting easier to manage over time, though everyone's mileage varies.

No worries, you'll be okay. Once I made it past week three, the appetite control at the 5 mark got way stronger. Just stay on top of your protein and water.

No, I'm in maintenance mode, though holding steady's been a real struggle. Hunger's been off the charts for about five months now. Been on these meds two and a half years total though.

Went through this exact thing a couple weeks ago. On this since March 2025, currently at 2mg. Out of nowhere I turned completely ravenous!

Eating everything in sight, tons of it. Stopped grocery shopping for two weeks just to rein it in. Still gained 2lbs over that stretch. Sugar cravings and general food obsession haven't let up. Best guess is it tied to my nausea and that salty aftertaste finally fading for a while.

Mostly leveled out again but still fighting sugar cravings hard.

Hoping things improve for you soon too.

Third dose in now, three or four days out and the hunger's back. First two weeks I barely wanted to eat. Starting to feel like it's about time for a bump, though I've got one more round at 0.25 first.
