Pills vs. Shots: My Semaglutide Switch

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Wouldn't personally go with the pill option over the injectable. Daily dosing is required and it's simply less potent. The injectable is weekly instead, fast and virtually painless.

Switching to the daily oral option keeps suppression consistent day to day. Just make sure to follow the instructions exactly though, no flexibility there with how it's taken.

Switching to the wegovy pill pushed my cycle back by two weeks this time around. Normally I'm right on schedule give or take a day or two.

Wouldn't personally recommend it, though I'm no medical expert. How long does that pill actually stay active in your system? Definitely something worth asking your prescriber directly.

Hey, also just switched to oral tablets yesterday, generic version too. In my situation the provider suggested trying the oral route first before considering the injectable option down the line if needed.

Cell_Life Wegovy pill user here, started in January, moving over to the shot come September. The pill got me 39 pounds down, but it feels like its slowing, so im trying the shot to see if loss picks up. No problems taking it and no bad side effects. I take the pill on waking, and by the time im ready and heading off, the 30 minute window is long over, so i can grab coffee on the drive too. Lots of people hate the half hour wait before eating, whereas mornings were always empty for me anyway, so it cost me nothing. If the pill price wasnt about to go up i'd probably stay on it
