Transition from 15mg Tirz to Tirz+Reta dosage questions for obese male

Male, 34, five ten. Struggled with weight my whole life due to poor nutritional guidance early on, raised on low fat messaging from age three so my diet leaned almost entirely on sugar until my twenties. Topped out near 155 kilos back in late 2019. Began this year at 136 kilos, now down to 110, targeting 90 by year end. Running 15mg weekly of tirz currently and food noise still lingers. Recently shifted to carnivore since that helped quiet cravings before, planning to stay carnivore until dropping below 100 kilos then pivot into a calorie deficit. Just picked up reta to layer in, unsure how much to pull back tirz. Plan is two weekly injections, one compound per day. Considering a moderate tirz dose alongside a small reta amount for a month, then adjusting the ratio further each month after, eventually settling lower on tirz with more reta through the rest of the journey. Anyone with experience or thoughts on this setup? Also have a copper peptide arriving soon, planning daily use.

Not on the same day, no. And yes, there's a real benefit to it. I came across research showing official labs are exploring combination analogs, plus read through experiences from people running both together, then dug into it more myself. What really sold me on trying it was a paper covering how differently tirz and reta bind to the GLP-1 receptor, they end up complementing each other, at least that's been my experience. My blood sugar control has improved, and I've shed a solid amount of visceral fat too.

You've been running a pretty aggressive calorie deficit, so your body's fighting hard to pull food back in. Ever thought about trying the combined cagri-sema option? Should offer strong appetite control. Another route worth considering, go back to your previous tirz amount and slowly layer reta on top.

Or swing the other way entirely and go starch-heavy instead.

Either way, reta's my favorite. Best performer for weight loss even looking at two-year data. Tirz paired with elora might eventually beat it out in trials, but who knows.

Personally I'd ease into reta as a standalone treatment over time, running it alongside tirz in the transition period the way you described. Then layer in cagri or elora on top of reta if extra help's needed once you're past 8mg.
