Bloodwork on Tirzepatide?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Appreciate you sharing this. Going to book a screening along with a prostate check and get bloodwork done, finally stopping the delay tactics.

Seen your posts around before. Any recent bloodwork done, liver panels included? Ultrasound imaging at all? Lots of speculation floating around, curious to see some actual numbers behind it.

Saw that too, genuinely interesting stuff. Not aware of anyone actually tracking GLP-1 or GIP numbers in their blood outside of a formal study. It does look like some people respond better to one drug over another based on their starting hormone levels, even though I'll admit the mechanism behind that is a bit confusing to me. What the body naturally produces of those hormones is minuscule next to what these medications deliver, which makes it surprising baseline figures would matter at all. Without actually testing first, is any of that even actionable? Maybe it's still worth trying a different GLP drug if the first one doesn't click, could even be worth considering semaglutide if tirzepatide falls flat, which is a rough thing to think about given how badly that one treated me. Still, my recommendation would be starting with tirz or the third compound first.

So, I'm 42, hadn't seen a doctor in something like 25 years, and never once had bloodwork done. My spouse, absolute saint, had been nagging me about a proper checkup for two or three years running.

Finally caved this year and got the whole workup, January 5th. Was at my heaviest, drinking a fair amount, and generally unhappy with where I was at.

Results came back moderate, aside from high cholesterol and liver numbers that landed well into concerning territory.
Got an ultrasound scheduled quickly to check my liver, which confirmed fatty liver disease.

That's exactly what pushed me to start taking liver support supplements, and honestly why I got into this drug class in the first place! Started with the dual-action compound, then stacked the third compound shortly after. Overhauled my diet, basically quit drinking entirely, both came surprisingly easy once the dual-action compound kicked in.

Got a new panel done two months later, March 12th, everything came back solidly healthy and already massively improved!

Probably going to keep doing these quarterly as long as I'm at a full dose of anything, then maybe twice yearly once I hit maintenance.
