Down 92lb! Almost there!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
92 down after a fourth baby is the kind of result that genuinely changes what feels possible. Almost there after all of that is such a milestone. What is left to the final goal and how long have you been at it?

40 lbs in 6 weeks is a remarkable start and the percentage framing advice is solid - it's the only way to keep the math from looking like it's going wrong when it's actually going right. The OP at 92 down after four kids is the long-game result. You're almost there yourself!

That's such an incredible achievement. Started this whole thing originally because of weight gained after the last baby, mostly during breastfeeding actually! Congrats on the baby, plus holding steady since.

Growing an entire human here! That's incredible. Please go easy on yourself through these massive body changes. Pregnancy isn't permanent, unless part of an extremely large family, so there'll be plenty of time to lose the weight again afterward.

Oh wow!!! my best friend started at 313 and now sits at 250 lbs. You're going to come out of this just fine, keep pushing forward and don't give up hope, the weight will start coming off soon

Wow, that sounds a lot like where I was too. My weight's definitely plateaued, maybe 5kg total gone since giving birth. Also dealing with what seems like moderate water retention since my number bounces around a certain range, lowest point since the baby was minus 7kg and I can't seem to break past this plateau. Feels like the next move for me is raising the dose. Nothing to lose by trying. Appreciate you sharing your story. What's your overall target for total loss? Would genuinely love an accountability partner to keep each other motivated, feel free to message me if that sounds good!

Hey! Fellow shorter person here at 4'10, so four inches under you. You've already got a proportional, lovely frame to build from. Anyway, I weighed 190 last October starting out. Today's weigh-in landed at 116. Been walking constantly, over fifty miles monthly, plus strength training three times weekly to help with dropping over 70 pounds. Completely overhauled my eating and picked up new habits across these ten months. Original target sat around 130. Kept nudging it down though. My body's just different now after having kids. Might be done. Still deciding.

Could've written this myself lol. I'm 38, my heaviest was 353 back in 2023. Dropped 50, got pregnant, and since then I've lost another 85, putting me at 218 as of today, yay! Though I'm on the shorter side, so my actual target's more like 150-160. Never been this petite since I did Atkins right before college graduation back in 2011, and once the scale drops under 200 that'll mark my lightest since middle school. Think the smart move is just staying adaptable while the target keeps approaching, tweaking it further based on labs and however things look in the mirror :)
