Tirz arrived! When do I pin?

15mg tirz and a year supply of reta is a solid foundation for the transition. Starting at 1mg reta is the right call - cautious enough to see how it responds without going in too heavy. What timeline are you thinking for stepping down the tirz as the reta ramps up?

Cutting back to 7.5mg when adding 2mg Reta is exactly the cautious approach that makes sense on a new stack. The overlap at full doses of both is a lot to manage all at once. A week in at those adjusted levels is still very early - how is it feeling compared to tirz alone?

The 31g and 32g struggle with low vial volume is a common pen issue - resistance increases as the vial empties and thinner gauges have trouble with the last 0.2ml or so. A 29g needle as the backup for the last draw solves it across most pen types.

Agreed. Starting at a small amount for a few weeks before working up to a moderate level makes sense. Really depends on how the body responds along the way. Zero side effects showed up with either compound tried here.

Really grateful this thread exists. Thanks to everyone sharing their stories, planning to do the same once I start next week. Have three 10mg vials on hand and hopefully a couple more kits arriving soon. Staying on tirz going forward. Running roughly 10-12mg weekly right now (been playing around with timing and amounts), going back to a fixed weekly rhythm, first up is tirz Sunday, then my first eloralintide dose Wednesday or Thursday. Not certain what tirz amount makes sense once eloralintide enters the mix. Starting extremely cautious with 0.5mg eloralintide just to gauge my body's reaction. Anyone have thoughts on how I should handle the tirz side?

I'm running Tirz, keeping a reta kit set aside for whenever, picked up 10mg for the exact reasons you brought up, planning to dose up gradually so it lasts a good while. Not planning on picking up more until I've worked through this batch if needed, just to get a real sense of what I'll actually require going forward. For me it's more of a backup though, my longer-term plan revolves around Tirz since it's the gentler option between the two.
