One Year on this Med!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Held at 1 for quite a while but noticed the food chatter starting to return more than I wanted, so bumped up to 1.7. Honestly wish there were something in between, but I'll ride this out for a bit before maybe dropping back to 1 eventually.

Considering this a permanent medication as far as I'm concerned, so I'll keep fine-tuning like this whenever needed, obviously working with my doctor along the way

This is awesome, genuinely happy for you. Getting ready to transition into maintenance myself before long.

Same as you, this medication's helped build better habits along the way. Eating's still required, but now there's actual choice in what goes on the plate. After being away from heavily processed junk food for this long, the craving for it just isn't there much anymore. Especially with plenty of other things discovered that taste good and don't wreck the day.

Never expected to become someone who loves the gym either. But after a couple years of consistent workouts, skipping a day now feels stranger than showing up.

Really encouraging hearing that the new habits and lifestyle have stuck and the weight's held steady. Hoping for the same outcome. Seeing my doctor soon to start stepping the dose down gradually and see how that goes. Nervous but excited too.

Don't let negative comments get to you. Brought up the idea of eventually coming off the medication once and got hit with some of that same negativity. Claims that sticking to it without the medication just isn't possible, that kind of thing. Pretty discouraging given how positive things had otherwise been.
