Weight loss weirdness...

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Scale stalls after a drop are almost always water and body adjustment, not the medication losing effect. Clothes fitting or measurements might still be changing even when the scale isn't moving. Usually breaks through in a week or two.

The 35-lb loss from 285 with the feeling-off experience is worth tracking - at that scale, body composition shifts can create a disconnect between the mirror and expectations, especially when torso fat changes before facial appearance catches up. Scale calibration matters here: home versus medical office scales vary by hydration timing, clothing, and time of day. Pre-appointment weigh-ins are the more controlled comparison, but neither reading is wrong.

Metformin plus MJ has supporting data. The insulin sensitization effect adds something beyond what tirz does alone.

Rapid loss creates real systemic effects. On bone density the window that matters is now - resistance training during loss does more than starting after.

The disconnect between what the scale says and what you actually feel is real and well-documented - body image tends to lag behind physical change, sometimes by months. The 'off' feeling is a common phase, not a sign something isn't working.

Same here! Not dropping pounds, closing in on ten months now. But a bunch of my clothes have gotten really loose, almost to the point I've stopped wearing some of them. Really strange. Also pretty frustrating honestly.

Scale showed 126 lbs this morning. Catch myself staring at the gap between my thighs way too often since it still doesn't feel real. My clothing sizes barely feel believable either. Noticing odd bony spots I never had before. Keep thinking about buying a floor mirror for the bedroom, then talking myself out of it, reminding myself the ones at the gym work fine if I really need to check. Every single conversation opens with someone commenting on how thin I've gotten. Still see a heavier version of myself in my head, but I recognize that's just my brain lagging behind and try not to dwell on it.

My absolute floor is 121, and I'm on pace to hit that within the next month. After that... I'm calling it, done chasing further loss.

Planning to mark the occasion with one of those enormous bakery muffins, kind of an inside joke with a family here who's basically taken me in. (Weighed around 186 a couple years prior, wolfing down a similar muffin while griping that this medication was out of reach financially. The mother in that household said, totally deadpan, 'If you qualify with obesity plus a related health issue, coverage sometimes kicks in. (Beat.) Grab a second muffin.') These days my typical meals are genuinely satisfying, and hitting the gym is actually enjoyable now that carrying extra weight isn't slowing me down, something nobody warned me about, so that part isn't
