Reta kicking hypertension's butt!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Just kicked off reta.
Unfortunately even the best outcomes from the study won't move my numbers enough. Given my family history and lifetime LDL exposure, the real target for me should sit under 90, ideally closer to 70.

Currently reading 255 LDL, 23 HDL, elevated inflammation marker, and high ApoB. Honestly had worse cholesterol readings back when I was a fit, active 21-year-old soldier eating clean, so in my case this really comes down to genetics.

Just started a PCSK9 injectable, paying full price out of pocket monthly, alongside a cholesterol absorption medication. Whatever benefit reta adds on top will be genuinely welcome. Every bit helps at this point.

Same here, but my usually-low blood pressure has bottomed out even more lately and honestly it's a real bummer. Thinking I'll pass on the third compound this round and check whether that helps things settle.
