Just started. Terrified!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
95 lbs down on Oz and the visual of lifting your kid to understand what that weight was - that's one of the most useful ways to make the number feel real rather than abstract. For the OP terrified at the start, that end picture is exactly the kind of thing that makes the fear worth pushing through. What did month one look like and what dose did you end at?

Started back up recently too and felt just as nervous. Similar age, similar starting weight, and also failed at weight loss more times than can be counted. So far everything's been genuinely great and there's real relief about taking this step. Started on the generic version made by Apotex, and food noise vanished almost instantly. Used to snack heavily at night, and by day two there was barely any thought of snacking at all, haven't touched soda since either. Aiming for a solid protein target daily, staying on top of electrolytes, and avoiding fatty foods, feeling great overall! Down twenty pounds and honestly wishing this had started sooner!

Really appreciate both the encouragement and the heads-up. Lucky enough to have a genuinely great primary doctor, brought up my worries about Ozempic's side effects and all the scary stories floating around online about losing muscle mass and gaining everything back once people quit. We've gone the cautious route together, began at a quarter milligram and only just reached 1mg as this year kicked off.

Also 33 here, started at 290 lbs, hoping to reach my goal eventually. On Wegovy specifically since Ozempic's restricted to type 2 diabetics where I live.
