Down 11% - should I stop?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
The dose-dependent set point idea tracks with what a lot of people observe - each level gets you to a new floor and holds you there, and when you've reached the top dose and that plateau, switching mechanism (to reta or another GLP-1 variant) is the next step rather than forcing further restriction.

365 and going up every month to 15mg is the fast titration approach. Whether stopping at 11% is the right move usually comes down to what the underlying goals are. If it's weight loss you could keep going, but there's something to be said for consolidating and holding too.

Hey, mind sharing more about how the dose range between 1 and 2mg went for your weight loss? Did things eventually start moving for you? Heading into week three at the starting amount myself and the scale's barely shifted, getting pretty discouraged over here.

Been holding steady at the latest amount for a while now:
Early weeks at a small amount
Middle stretch at a moderate amount
Current stretch at a higher amount, the present dose

Getting close to a third and final target, so looking into scaling back for a maintenance phase to see how the body responds. Like most people, weekly loss has slowed some, though the trend keeps heading down, with the occasional bigger week mixed in, so sticking with this approach for now. Results speak for themselves so far.

Personally not on board with bumping the dose just because the loss isn't fast enough. Like, a pound a week isn't enough so crank it up?!? I'm down around 135 pounds total at this point, roughly 80 of that from tirz. Started and mostly held at 2.5mg the whole time, aside from a couple months trying 5mg before dropping back due to side effects.

6mg worked well for me. Held there six weeks instead of my usual four. Stalled, moved to 8mg, then up to 9 for four weeks, hit 10 for a couple, then eased back down. Blew past my original goal, set a new one, and cleared that by 7-8 pounds too. Lost more than planned honestly. Started a maintenance dose this past Friday, same day as my weigh-in. We'll see where things stand tomorrow.

calmsipper Just began week 6 on 1mg. Went from 90kg to 85.5kg. Happy with that, since waist size and muscle matter most to me, so I lift 3 or 4 times weekly plus 3 cardio sessions. I still enjoy food and drinks, just smaller portions. If results continue I will stay at 1mg. Aiming for 80kg with no rush, I just do not want my waistline to grow.

calmsipper Do you need really to go up? Many do not. Are you still losing on one mg, slowly? I just began 1 mg and was actually still losing on 0.5, so I'm wondering if I should've moved up, but the really only other one I've is one mg so I figured I'd try. It's going well so far. I don't plan to increase unless absolutely really necessary, for cost, and since I think one mg will still work.

Wow, great results! I did 0.5mg weekly for about 2 weeks then 1mg weekly, which is where I am now, week 5, and nothing like what you got. I only want to drop maybe 10 lbs or fewer, because I care about losing fat not muscle, so Im lifting and eating protein. I care more about how I look than the scale.
