Slow and steady wins the race?

Dropping a pound weekly on 2.5 is fantastic! Not sure where you started from, but keep at it, slow and steady tends to be the way to go since it's more likely to actually stick. None of this weight showed up overnight either.

2lbs weekly honestly sounds fast to me! Especially without supplement support. A gradual pace looks more like 2 lbs monthly. Over this past year I've personally lost 35lbs. That counts as gradual. Wouldn't dismiss rapid loss as a possible cause here.

I'm probably the slowest responder around, but honestly don't mind since the number keeps dropping regardless. Averaging roughly 1.5lbs monthly. Took three full years to shed 60lbs. Still got 20 more ahead of me.

Lost 15 lbs over 5 months. I bounce up and down, then one week the scale drops 2 to 3 lbs, and then it starts over. I raised my dose three weeks back and the pattern just carries on. lately it feels like a fight for every ounce. Going to recheck my TDEE, and i know my water needs work. Fingers crossed that helps. So frustrating!

Around a year took me from the 170s to the mid 130s. Progress was gradual, and apart from a few pounds up or down, I have held it. Time was needed, and that is fine! I try to stay mindful of the weight my body suits versus one that stretches my limits. Give it more time!

Similar story here: five percent gone within the opening three weeks, nearly straight down. Then a week bouncing, a small loss, a small regain, and then a steadier pace around 1.5lb a week. My average works out to about 0.11% of body weight daily, though any given day can swing +/- 2 pounds. So a sudden scale jump some day or week shouldn't shock you. Keep at it!
