Done with Mounjaro... for now!

Aren't nearly all runway models technically underweight by BMI standards anyway? Not claiming BMI is some perfect metric, genuinely just curious how you're defining underweight here. Still standing by what I said earlier, there's no way you're the height you listed based on that picture you shared and later removed. That does leave me a little hopeful you're not quite as underweight as the original post made it sound. Honestly struggling to see the reasoning behind the post beyond it reading as attention-seeking. Not ruling out other explanations, just genuinely can't wrap my head around it. What reaction were you expecting after posting those specific height and weight numbers? Or mentioning you started this medication already sitting at a weight that was still healthy by BMI standards?

I noticed you mentioned insulin resistance further down in the comments, which tracks, since it's increasingly common among people who read as thin in cultures obsessed with thinness regardless of actual metabolic health, the skinny-fat label applies to a lot of those cases too. Good on you at least for trying to build some muscle.

Overall I'm just left confused with a couple of questions.
1. How exactly are you defining underweight?
2. Starting this medication already at a healthy weight, did you

My chunky cat tips the scale at 8.2kg. Tried every diet cat food out there and he just keeps growing. Meanwhile my other cats stay perfectly proportioned... I'll be first in line the day they make something like this for animals! And yep, taking the second compound myself too, standing 5'2", short women really do have it harder here.

Gorgeous photo by the way. Congrats to you!

Same here, but I definitely wasn't getting enough protein. I'm off Mounjaro now because of insurance and 20 of the 50 pounds I lost came back. I'm changing how I eat, plenty of fruit and veg, more protein, nothing processed, and now I need an apple every day lol.

At my highest I was 5'8, 240lb, BMI 37. When I began Mounjaro I was 209 (BMI 32). Originally my target was a US size 8 at 175lb, and once I got there I kept pushing. When I hit my lowest, I reached 145lb and moved to maintenance. Two years later I hover around 151-153, BMI 23. I'm definitely not too thin. I carry a naturally muscular build and I don't wear the US 4/6 or size S/M, depending on the brand and cut.
