Tirz woes - 2nd week slump!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I switched from sema to tirz too and oof, this plateau is real. At 2.5mg I'm basically seeing nothing, so I'm hoping once I jump to 5mg next week things kick back in. Had lost 35 on sema so fingers crossed the new med works better.

Hanging at 7.5, no sides even increasing dose makes me question if it's working. Hate diarrhea but when I got it I knew something was up. Need to be patient. Expected steady loss, got stuck, threw me.

I've been stacking them - Tirz at 7.5 the whole way, but ramping up the second one week by week. Week 1 was 0.3, week 2 hit 0.6, week 3 jumped to 1.2, and I'm settling there for now. Thinking I'll stick at this level for a bit.

Check my scale every morning but only log it once weekly on injection day. Get an InBody Scan every four weeks to verify I'm shedding fat not muscle.

For me it was hitting 200 after starting at 280, then I plateaued for 2 months trying to drop the last 6. Dropped from 15mg Tirz to 12.5 for a week, 10 for a week, stayed at 10 for 3 weeks. Then decided I wanted 100 pounds down, bumped back to 12.5 then 15. Lost another 14 in 5 weeks. Almost there—one Costco chicken away from goal.

had an easy run two days ago and suddenly my heart was racing out of control. didn't realize it was 210 bpm until i checked my watch. i did slow down but kept going. getting checked out, all good so far but i'm nervous.

Constipation alone can bring everything to a halt, going three days without can really slow your whole metabolic system down. Noticed absolutely no appetite shift at the 0.5 mark either, honestly nothing registered from the medication until reaching 1mg. Was on a compounded version of the second compound through a telehealth provider, and they told me some people genuinely need to reach a higher amount before their body actually responds, especially starting out in the 300s range. Worth asking your own doctor about titrating faster than the standard schedule allows.

This matched my own reta pattern exactly. That amount really knocked me flat. If I kept going, I'd probably drop down and settle somewhere lower, but stepping off it entirely at present to check whether my blood pressure recovers. It's running way too low currently.

My head's aiming for 10 more pounds gone, planning to hold a small weekly tirz amount indefinitely and let my body figure out where it actually wants to land.

Yeah, thinking I'll bump the amount up to 3mg starting next week. Get pretty rough morning nausea the day after, but it clears by noon. Was also considering adding a small amount of the dual-action medication just for a bit of extra appetite control.

Social media never fails to amaze me sometimes. Just yesterday came across a post from a woman going back and forth for ages with her pharmacy provider because she needed her usual 2.5mg amount of the second compound but instead they sent her a mix of 2.5, 5, and 7.5 vials, leaving no way to keep her dose consistent. She was livid, felt completely ignored, and couldn't get anyone there to fix the mistake.

Just... wow.

Four weeks at 2.5mg and if anything I wanted to eat more! Fine in the day but stuffing my face at night! Went up to 5mg Friday and felt full until about 24 hours after the jab! I hope 5mg does the job for me, though I'm already wondering when 7.5mg comes. Only day one so far, and yet I can't see 5mg doing much for me.

Twice weekly at 1mg now, and honestly the Tirz is doing nothing. Dinner was a burger with fries, and then dessert was a huge cookie plus milk, and that cookie now makes me feel ill. I miss not caring about junk food one way or the other. Ill move to the standard 2mg at the next dose.
