Vacay break from GLP-1s?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
For a colonoscopy your lower end has to be spotless, and GLPs slow your gut down, sometimes a lot, so pausing makes sense. I paused for 2 weeks before mine. Honestly, right as cravings crept back, the dreaded prep began, and I lost tons of weight during it. Straight afterward I devoured one enormous, decadent meal, then restarted my shots. Last fall I had two procedures, a phlebectomy on a vein and repair of hernias on both sides, and got conflicting instructions, hold tirz a week or hold it two. My last weekly shot was 8 days ahead of the procedure, and I restarted the day after. By that math I skipped just a week, no? Zero problems afterward.

Follow the instructions and stop at least a week beforehand. Afterward just resume at your old dose. Its only a week, GLP remains in your system that soon, so no need to return to the smallest dose, thats pointless.

I quit all GLPs cold for a month last October, and pizza never tasted better. Weeks one to three were fine, then week four was humbling, with weight rising almost daily. Without the meds, I like the lessthanhalf approach of steering clear of addictive foods almost religiously (easier on diets that use starch and protein for satiety).

not sure honestly, i had to do something similar back in june, two eye procedures scheduled roughly three weeks apart, and the surgeon refused to proceed while any glp1 was still in my system, so i paused treatment for close to a month. that stretch through june and july was pretty interesting, i didnt get the wild swings i braced myself for, but hunger pangs came storming back inside a week after i stopped.
