Can't do protein or fats on this stuff!

Ah, sounds like you've cracked the sulphur mystery. Not really a protein shake person myself, but eggs combined with slower digestion can absolutely set off some rough smelling side effects, particularly while adjusting to a dose bump.

Had no idea nausea could come from an empty stomach! Can't do protein shakes myself, the texture gets me every time. Wondering if boiled eggs might work better instead.

No, I am not eating just anything. My diet is high protein and low carb, but volume is the problem. With a deliberate calorie deficit plus Mounjaro flattening my appetite, hitting my protein target daily is very hard without shakes and the like.

Load up on bland foods plus fruit and veg, or a daily greens mix if you can't stomach vegetables. You might be hungry at times while flavorful food makes you queasy. I lived on protein shakes, smoothies, bananas, sourdough toast and cold turkey sandwiches (plain) for nutrition. Also consider protein shots.

Nobody says you must eat typical morning food. Early on I've got zero appetite, so my day starts with a fruit smoothie blended with protein powder. Chewing first thing just isn't happening most mornings, so this suits me. Adding Greek yogurt plus chia gives me a protein and fiber head start.

Not an expert at all, only week 3 at 2.5mg, but here's what helps me with protein. The only bar I found that I like comes in flavors that are all good, only 12g protein and 200 calories, but it's a good snack. Calories dont bother me since I need more. Protein drinks: sample packs from several brands helped me choose. My favorite shake has 24g protein, lots of flavors, and plain chocolate is the best. I also love clear drink powders, 20g protein, especially kiwi strawberry mixed with fresh fruit, and an island punch flavor. Hubby grills chicken for me, good protein though I cant eat much at once, plus shrimp and tuna. Bread and wheat products are still off the table for my tummy. Breakfast is a smoothie of milk, plain Greek yogurt, a spoon of honey and frozen mixed fruit.

Anything protein-y turns me off at the moment. Im starting to appreciate all those crazy protein snacks. Even meat, fish, eggs or beans are a slog. All I want is crackers, lol.
