Eloralintide has been way easier on me than cagrilintide

Three or four weeks into eloralintide now (I don't keep good notes) and wanted to share how much easier it is on me than cagrilintide. On cagri I got some odd bouts of mental fatigue. Nothing like that on elora. I began at 1 mg, moved to 1.5, and this week 2 mg, and I plan to work towards 3 mg and see how it feels.

Appetite wise it's about the same as cagri, but I wouldn't call it suppression or a quieter food noise. It's constant fullness. No wonder the study rats stopped eating for a week, because I've caught myself needing reminders to eat. Picture the way you feel after a big holiday dinner when the last thing you want is another bite, only without the bloat. Best part is zero upper GI trouble, so I can eat when I choose without nausea or vomiting. Anyone else moved from cagri to elora? Curious how your dose climb went.

That two-week half-life calls for extra caution with dose increases, since steady state takes nearly 8 weeks and overshooting means side effects need double the time to fade compared to other GLPs. Dosing in smaller pieces more frequently generally keeps side effects lowest during increases, so instead of one dose every 2 weeks, half the amount twice weekly is safer, though reaching stable blood levels takes ages. The human study on tirz combined with elora has only a summary out, but in rats, stacking elora on top of full dose tirz flattened them, the rats skipped food completely for seven days, quite an eternity in rat terms, and the combination had more dramatic effects.

Coming off cagri at 2 mg, I expect more hunger on Elora at 1 mg, but I wont climb quickly given the crazy exhaustion and the half life. Tirz is in the mix too, so we'll see what happens.

Maybe something's off with me. The 1mg hit me within 2 hours, and my appetite control strengthens weekly on that dose. Weirdly I can still eat when I decide I have to, and I'm losing weight on Elora only, no other GLPs. Maybe it's because I'm just a human.
