Coming off GLP-1 meds... anyone else?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I'm on GLP1s for diabetes, and I can tell you with total confidence this isn't just about emotional eating for everyone. Spent roughly twelve months on ozempic before side effects forced me to stop. A couple weeks after stopping, my mood shot way up, noticeable enough that my whole family commented on it. Went a couple months without any injections before getting switched to mounjaro. Mood's sliding downhill again now that I'm back on something. This has happened with two separate GLP1 medications for me, so it's clearly not a coincidence.

Same. Two full years on the top dose of Ozempic and I was throwing up daily, whatever I ate. Ginger chews, BRAT diet, liquids only, Zofran, I tried the lot. Dropped 75 pounds, great, right? Then I decided I would rather be a bigger person eating sensibly than keep wrecking myself on a GLP1. Stopped in December, and only got on the scale in June. About 30 pounds came back. I nearly cried standing there. Two years for nothing. I can still taste bile, and yet I'm thinking about restarting at the smallest dose, which honestly makes me really sad. You're not alone, and I hope things go well for you.
