Has retatrutide pushed anyone's blood pressure up?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Most of us know about the heart rate bump on retatrutide. Mine is up about 5 bpm, and my dose is just 1.5 mg. What I haven't seen discussed much is blood pressure. It used to average around 117/72 and now it sits near 130/85 most days. I'm 6'2", 188 lb, roughly 20 percent body fat, in the gym four times a week and otherwise healthy. I love what it does to food noise, so this catches me off guard. Work stress has been heavy lately, so I can't tell whether that is the cause or whether it's the reta. On top of that I use a peptide blend at 2.67 mg per day, which I mention in case it matters. Has anyone tracked their readings and seen a similar jump? Did it settle after a few weeks, or did you end up adjusting the dose or talking to your doctor?

My BP started running 140/85 or above once my BMI reached 31 or 32, and that pushed me to try Reta. My pulse rose at first but seems normal again, though I havent done a 24hr monitor. BP fell faster than my weight did. Now at a BMI around 26, my under-120/80 numbers are probably just better overall health.

That sounds normal to me. Reta commonly shifts heart rate and HRV. Only lately did I hear that blood pressure can move too, the HR/HRV side I've known about for ages, and it doesn't seem to hit many people. Mine had already been running too low, so when somebody said reta can bring it down, I took note.

My first stretch on reta ran from May through July. Resting rate climbed from about 60 up near 80 over that window. Took roughly a month off the drug before it eased back down toward 70. Started tirz not long after stopping reta though, and once that got up around 65 the number climbed right back toward 80 once more. Working out never showed the same pattern for me, cardio or lifting both kept the same zone 2 and HIIT peaks I always had. The part that actually bothered me was sleeping heart rate, it stayed higher than resting the whole time. So I'd be sitting around 80 during the day and then jump to 85 or more once asleep, which felt backwards. Doesn't seem like a common complaint, or maybe people just aren't watching their sleep numbers closely enough to notice.

No serious heart pounding for me, but between my IBS and carrying an extra 30 pounds, my baseline heart rate already sat around 90 with blood pressure near 130 over 90. Once I started reta that climbed to roughly 95 and blood pressure crept up a touch to 132. Didn't want to gamble on either number climbing further, which pushed me over to tirz, and now I've got zero heart rate or blood pressure issues, plus the weight's still coming off. That's where things stand for me right now.
