    Reta Results - Worth It?

ALK vials are a common preference for reconstitution - the amber glass with alkali-resistant coating reduces leaching risk and the 10ml size works well for multi-dose peptide storage. The medical-and-lab-supplies route for sourcing them directly cuts down on markup significantly.

    Down 89lbs in 49 weeks!

89 in 49 weeks at steady sub-2lb pace tends to preserve lean mass better than faster loss.

    From A1c 9.8 to 5.2! What a year!

9.8 to 5.2 in under a year is the full reversal - from active T2D to the normal range in one arc. The six size drop alongside that means the metabolic improvement wasn't just pharmaceutical, it's structural.

Plus, you are losing weight at a healthy rate too. I would recommend staying on 2.5mg as long as possible.

Mounjaro pen holders - anyone else?

You can find cheap containers to toss them in the fridge. Doesn't need to be fancy if it's just sitting on a shelf.

    Happy tears over smaller clothes!

Congratulations! Keep up the amazing work! I'm so happy for you! Scale victories are nice, but the non-scale ones are what really give me a boost. Have a wonderful trip, and enjoy your new shirt! 🤩

    2.5mg still working after months?

This week, I plan on waiting 9 days between shots instead of 7. My doctor actually suggested that I wait longer. I had a complete blood panel done a couple of weeks ago. I never thought I'd be losing weight too quickly!

Mounjaro pen holders - anyone else?

They should use a standard pen design companywide. So much packaging is wasted! Edit: It's a cool way to keep your doses sorted.

    2.5mg still working after months?

It's been about 5 months since I started on Mounjaro at 2.5mg, and I'm actually struggling to eat enough. Food isn't appealing, and it feels like a chore to eat. The doc has suggested spreading out my doses because I'm losing weight faster than expected. My glucose is fine, but I'm afraid I'm...

    Reta on a plane?

I'm about 2 weeks and change into my injectable journey...down like one or two pounds. A reasonable rate, I think. My first couple of doses in my tummy made me super queasy...like for days. I put the last dose in my thigh, and not as sick, but the cravings are there. I am increasing the dose...

    Reta on a plane?

Update: I got the insulin kit with ice packs, added my loaded syringe, alcohol wipes and band aids. No problems at security. I also brought the paperwork from my first Reta purchase from some clinic in AZ, just in case.

    Reta on a plane?

Domestic USA? Carry-on. Cold pack. TSA doesn't care. They know people take meds and have syringes. They're looking for the unexpected. I had no problems in December/January flying with mine. Got stopped for hand warmers! And coffee!

    Reta on a plane?

I searched "traveling with peps" and "flying with peptides", but missed "airports". Found some stuff now. I thought I was being thorough but missed a main keyword. Sorry!

    Reta on a plane?

Hey, Need some advice for a work trip. Gotta bring two 2mg doses of Reta. Option A: Take my 10mg vial, bac water, and needles in my checked bag. Mix it in my hotel room. Pros: Seems reliable. Cons: 1) Vial at room temp for half a day. 2) What if the leftover 6mg goes bad on the way back...

    My squishy bits are… happy?!

Ugh, my arms, thighs, belly – all saggy. I'm fighting the good fight, and I'll share if I discover any magic bullets. I'm a 66-year-old woman lifting weights 4 times a week, mixing heavy and light. My partner loves me just the same! I look awesome in clothes, so I'm trying to make friends with...
