Pics: Do you see a difference?

I find that's true. It's like they need to be really, really sure before they say anything. I went from 128kg to 104kg and am feeling so much better! I'm getting married next year and feel like I will be the bride I always dreamed of being.

Half my size - a Sema story!

I weigh about that much! I started at 332 a week ago and took my second dose yesterday. At weigh-in, I was down to 326, so 6 lbs in a week. How long did it take you to lose everything? You look amazing! Always have, by the way.

Pics: Do you see a difference?

You're doing great! I reckon people are sometimes reluctant to point out weight loss in case they offend you, like they're saying you looked bad previously. It's a tricky situation for them to navigate unless they're very close to you, like family. Keep going!

Half my size - a Sema story!

Wes19 You look amazing! How long were you on semaglutide to lose so much? Are you dealing with excess skin? I'm worried about that. My dad dropped over 200 lbs, and it took years for his arm skin to bounce back, but he still had loose skin on his stomach and thighs.

    Labeling my GLP-1 meds

It's definitely worth keeping an eye on the developments. It's an evolving field, and the science behind how these oral GLP-1s work is pretty fascinating. Novo Nordisk has some good info on their website about it.

    Labeling my GLP-1 meds

Interesting. It's great you're all staying organized! I'm really curious about the future of GLP-1s, especially now that they're developing oral versions. It'll be a game changer if people can get the same benefits from a pill instead of injections.

    Gallstones from weight loss? Ouch!

I've only dropped 10-12 pounds in the last three and a half months. Your story makes me feel better about taking it slowly. I'm over 65 and I knew losing weight would be more difficult after menopause. I'm not increasing my dose quickly because of uncomfortable side effects like constipation. I...

    Gallstones from weight loss? Ouch!

I'm so sorry you went through that, it sounds awful! My doctor and everything I've read says that losing 1-2 pounds a week is a good, sustainable rate. Hopefully, you're feeling better now!

    GLP-1s and HIV: Thoughts?

I've read anecdotal reports of people with ME/CFS experiencing improved energy levels while on GLP-1s, possibly due to reduced inflammation. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Family freaks about weight loss?

That profile pic is awesome! I've never seen anyone give you crap about it. They are probably jealous! I wish I had a cool Trans Am and a cute cat!

    GLP-1s and HIV: Thoughts?

The lean mass loss is a concern. I've read that resistance exercise can help mitigate it. It's also important to ensure adequate protein intake, especially leucine. The SELECT trial showed a reduction in visceral fat, which is a huge benefit for metabolic health. But we need more data on the...

Same here! I lost almost 40 pounds when I stopped drinking, and that was *before* I even started this medication. It's just so much easier now!
