    Down a LOT... now what?

I tell you what, it's definitely a marathon, not a sprint. I dropped about 20 pounds since November. Clothes fit better, I feel more mobile. I went from 312 to 215 over a year and a change. I've never felt healthier and I'm certain you all can too!

Peptides to bust stubborn belly fat?

Did you hit any plateaus when using the reta? I know some people find they stall out after a few weeks/months, but changing injection sites can help.

Peptides to bust stubborn belly fat?

If you're already doing keto/carnivore, Tone_Life, why not try incorporating some longer fasts? Maybe a couple of 72-hour fasts? Fasting can be really effective at targeting visceral fat specifically, which is often the most stubborn type to lose as we get older. It's probably easier than you...

    Down 50+ lbs! So happy!

It's a really individual thing. Some people can taper off completely with diet and exercise. Others stay on a low dose long-term.

    Down a LOT... now what?

Wow, BigTale, very similar starting point to mine. Can't quite picture myself at 120--that's amazing! And I'm 67, so we're close in age too. Congrats!

Mounjaro's done for me. Now what?

Thanks for the warning! How quickly did the weight come off for you? I've heard rapid weight loss can trigger gallbladder issues.

Reta: How bad could it REALLY be?

Everyone responds differently of course, but that's definitely encouraging! I'm thinking about asking my doctor about it. I'm pushing 60 and a little extra help with fat loss and nutrition partitioning would be quite welcome.

    Such a thoughtful answer 🙂

    OMG - this actually WORKED!

That's a really good question, Vial_Story. I've heard that focusing on diet is even *more* important when you can't exercise. Less processed stuff, more whole foods.

Reta: How bad could it REALLY be?

I prefer to think that if it's not a free lunch with these GLP-1 meds, at least it's a free dessert. I just started sema, but given how close I was to being gone at my previous weight, the results feel like a miracle. My situation seems to be genetic. Maybe my "disease" was helpful for surviving...

    One Year Difference!

I agree with NoSnackAttack, protein is key. Also, mindful eating. Ask yourself if you're truly hungry or just bored/stressed. Sometimes a walk or a cup of tea can do the trick!

Reta: How bad could it REALLY be?

Why not just stick with what's approved? Tirzepatide is proving to be quite effective.
