Tirzepatide: First Month & Source Q's

Great progress. What does your week look like exercise-wise?

MOTS-c AND SLU at the same time?

Solid clumps from shipping usually recon fine - gentle rotation in warm water, not shaking, and it typically dissolves within a few minutes. Cloudiness after full dissolution is the real flag.

    3 Years on Zep/MJ!

The 10mg consistency across Zep, compounded, and grey is the expected pattern - the active compound is the same. The additive in compounded being the differentiator is the most common experience; it mostly shows up in injection site tolerance, not in efficacy.

    Scared to start Ozempic!

Ok so I did the shot this morning. Barely felt it, just like some people said. But now I have a headache and feel kind of dizzy. Is that normal this soon?

    Scared to start Ozempic!

Thanks, everyone, for the advice! It's super helpful. I think I'll try to stick to really plain foods the first few days and drink a ton of water like everyone is suggesting. Hopefully, that will minimize any issues.

MJ was NOT my miracle drug!

It helped my endo a lot. I can stand for over 10 minutes now! I dropped about 25lbs. What trial is it? I want to know more!

GLP-1s and IBS - anyone else?

It's interesting how these meds affect people differently. My friend had to stop because of severe constipation. I'm managing okay, but I've been extra careful about staying hydrated. I have to pee all the time!

    Scared to start Ozempic!

Hey, everyone. I'm starting on Ozempic tomorrow, and I'm super nervous. I don't know what to expect. Throwing up is my biggest fear... I can deal with feeling sick as long as I don't actually puke. Any tips to help avoid that? Also, what should I know about food? What to avoid or focus on? Would...

    First week, feelin' nothin'?

Update! I injected my dose into my stomach like usual last night and I'm already feeling less hungry. Maybe it's placebo but I'll take it!

MJ was NOT my miracle drug!

Have you been able to stick to your calorie goals? We all know hitting the gym helps, but your diet is what really controls weight!

GLP-1s and IBS - anyone else?

I think it matters whether you lean toward constipation or diarrhea. I'm prone to diarrhea, so I handle Ozempic okay as long as I don't eat too much junk food.

    First week, feelin' nothin'?

Tomorrow's my week-iversary, also on 0.25mg, and I'm not feeling anything different. This is round two for me with this med. Last year, I was on it for almost 90 days before my insurance cut me off. It's been over four months without it. Got the word a month ago that they'd cover it again. After...

    First week, feelin' nothin'?

For me, it kicks in around dose 2 or 3. Some people are just more sensitive, it seems.

    From A1c 9.8 to 5.2! What a year!

It's so important to celebrate the small wins along the way! One person on another site said they rewarded themselves whenever their A1C went down a point, or when their cholesterol improved. They got themselves a gift when they lost the first 20 pounds, and another when they could shop in a...

    From A1c 9.8 to 5.2! What a year!

Fantastic progress! I'm so happy for you! I UNDERSTAND how much shedding the weight has improved your life! I, too, wish I hadn’t spent so many years avoiding cameras, and avoiding events because I was embarrassed about being overweight. I couldn’t lose weight no matter how much I exercised or...

    Down 100 lbs with Mounjaro!

I saw someone mention they're maintaining on 2.5 of Mounjaro. Is that something people do? I thought they usually increase the dosage.

    Peps for High BP?

That's fantastic, Lucky_xo455! I'm really glad to hear that! I'm having some delays with restarting my NAD+ regimen, but I'm hoping to get back to it next week. I hope I can have results similar to yours... thanks for the update!

    Peps for High BP?

I'm also interested in blood pressure solutions. I've been on 30mg of enalapril for over 15 years now. I know some people don't like it, but my doctors haven't been willing to switch me. It seems like my blood pressure issues are genetic. Even though I've always been active, eat a healthy diet...
