Reta Dosage & Weight Loss - What to Expect?

Weight loss puts real stress on your organs and most people don't think about that part - I deal with liver pain if I get lazy on water and electrolytes, so pacing your loss at 2 per week instead of pushing the dose higher actually makes sense. You're not racing anyone. Taking time means your...

Sulfur Burps on Mounjaro / Tirzepatide — What Worked, What Didn't (community guide)

Thank you for putting this together. Wish this existed when I started Mounjaro back in March. Spent the first 6 weeks convinced something was catastrophically wrong with me. Going to bookmark and send to a friend who's about to start Zepbound.

Mounjaro making me a couch potato?

I agree with LosingtheLbs about inflammation. However, some people are reporting hair loss after 6-9 months on MJ. So you could consider starting a collagen supplement to help prevent that. Check with your doctor first though.

Mounjaro making me a couch potato?

Definitely get bloodwork done to check for deficiencies. I started taking a vitamin D supplement because I was feeling wiped out, but only after my doctor confirmed I was low. Don't self-diagnose! While exercise is vital for overall health and maintaining muscle mass, it's not the primary...

Ozempic weight loss: anyone get shade?

Half my family uses Ozempic for diabetes reasons. I get more flak for hitting the gym. 'I wish I had time for that,' they say. Like I don't work just as many hours as they do. Sheesh.

    Down a HUGE Amount!

I feel you on the 'feeling like yourself' thing. I just started this week, and that's what I want, too - to get back to myself again. So happy you're feeling good. Also, it's funny, you seem happier in your 'before' photo. You look great either way!

    Thinner needles for IM shots?

Some folks suggest injecting before bed to sleep through any initial nausea. Others recommend a day when you have some flexibility in case of side effects. It's very individual!

    PT-141 Timing: Night vs Day?

I tried it once. My face got super red maybe 30 mins later. Did nothing else, though.

    Thinner needles for IM shots?

I recommend these Thin Wall needles. They go in super smooth. The best I've used since I started injecting oils. I draw with a 21g and switch to these 25's for the actual injection.

    Thinner needles for IM shots?

I use 25g x 1” needles for IM injections of oils and never have problems. You wouldn’t want a thinner needle like a 31g; it would be more likely to bend. Go thicker for less bending, like 23g or 21g.

Success Stories That Keep Us Going

Adding a medical pearl: feeling cold is common after significant fat loss because adipose tissue contributes to insulation and metabolic signaling. It is not just "in your head." Also, anyone with prior elevated A1C - please recheck labs periodically. The improvements can be dramatic, and...
