    Sema success: Feb-Oct '25!

I've managed to shed 65 pounds since February! Feels unreal. My sweetie joked that it's like we lost a whole bulldog. 😂 5'8" ~260 -> 194 lbs on 1mg weekly!

Testing my peps - am I getting ripped?

I was reading about someone that took a small amount of something called ACE-031... like 100mcg... and they started feeling like they had the flu within 15 mins. The purity test said it was 99% pure! Makes you wonder what else is in there.

    GLP-1's for Longevity?

Exactly! I only told my rheumatologist because I've known him since '95 and I know he leaves some things out of my record to protect me from insurance. I doubt a lot of doctors do that.

    GLP-1's for Longevity?

Most doctors hate anything new, especially if it's not from big pharma, and don't even think about suggesting it to them. My rheumatologist was pretty annoyed when I told him in June 2024 that I'd started on Reta (and he's usually super chill and open to new things). But when I came back in...

    GLP-1's for Longevity?

Yeah, these drugs are really cool if they treat your specific condition. Injector pens, who's using 'em?

You could get a travel pouch for refrigerated meds. Some are water-activated, so you dunk it in cold water and the cooling beads keep it cold. They dry in a few days, so just put the meds in the fridge or reactivate the pouch. I've done multi-week trips like this and it works well.

    Injector pens, who's using 'em?

I just buy sterilized carts for a few bucks each from some online vendors. So far, so good....

    Injector pens, who's using 'em?

It could be the pen or the cart. Try the pen without a cart and see the resistance. If it's okay, you might need a different vendor or the cart's internal plunger isn't installed properly.

    Injector pens, who's using 'em?

This pen lets you insert a syringe with your medication and uses a spring to inject. My wife has MS and used an older model with her medication. It works great and lasts for years. You just need syringes and alcohol wipes. https://www.amazon.com

    Injector pens, who's using 'em?

I'm prepping to fill my first pen and from the videos I've seen, you can use a syringe with the plunger removed OR a luer-lock needle (without the syringe), and even add a filter if you want.
