    Weight training for complete noobs?

I hit a wall after 8 months at max Wegovy, then switched to Mounjaro with no luck either. Real change only came when I switched my routine - ditched high-intensity for heavier weights and more walking. That worked for about a year with steady progress, but now I'm plateaued again and thinking...

    GLP-1: Unlocking Hidden Talents?

Good question! I've definitely noticed I'm sleeping better, and my energy levels are way up. Plus, my clothes fit so much better, which is a nice confidence boost.

    GLP-1: Unlocking Hidden Talents?

The scale is one thing, but it's the unexpected stuff that gets me. Like having to really tighten my belt to keep my pants from falling down. Or sitting down and feeling like I might slide right off because there's less of 'me' back there. LOL. And now I need to wear tighter shirts because my...

    GLP-1: Unlocking Hidden Talents?

So, I had a weird experience this morning that I think is GLP-1 related. I was brushing my teeth and went to scratch my side, and my arm went WAY further than I expected. I could practically pat myself on the back! I'm pretty sure I haven't grown extra limbs, so I'm guessing my waistline has...

Brain catching up to new you?

That's interesting! I haven't really noticed a change in anxiety levels, but the food noise is definitely quieter.

    GLP-1 Two-Year Check-In: Progress!

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words! Bobby_97 I've been at 7.5mg of tirz for about 9 months now, after titrating up slowly over the first year. It's been a journey!

Brain catching up to new you?

Honestly, I think I've lost the ability to accurately see myself. Maybe permanently. I was slender most of my life, then gained about 50 pounds, which I carried for about 10 years. During that time, I just lost my sense of self-perception. I couldn't tell if I was overweight, okay, or what. Now...

    GLP-1 Two-Year Check-In: Progress!

Here's me from February '22, just before starting on tirz. My blood sugar was kinda high, like 5.9 or so. And then a pic from this past fall. Talk about a change! And a few more then-and-now shots too. Now my A1C is 4.7! I'm so grateful for this med, the doc who got me on it, and all of you here!

    Forge vendor any good?

Has anyone used east coast vendors? I'm looking at a certain company selling combos deal but I'm always nervous about trying new places.

    Orforglipron - Lilly's new oral GLP-1

Pills over needles any day for me! I'd switch in a heartbeat if it was an option.

    Orforglipron - Lilly's new oral GLP-1

Apparently Lilly's been prepped for a while for this launch, according to a report back in the winter. Pretty wild to see this stuff happening. I'm hoping they invest some of these profits into Alzheimer's research.

    Orforglipron - Lilly's new oral GLP-1

I'm definitely wondering what the cost will be once it gets the green light.

This med is making me a new person!

Hey Fiber_Lean, is it normal to be able to eat more before my next dose? I inject on Sundays, and by Saturday, I can eat without feeling sick. I'm increasing soon, and I was thinking of splitting the dose to keep me full.

This med is making me a new person!

You look great! I started around February '23 at 240, started taking this in July '24, and I'm currently at 182. You're inspiring. Okay, I'm 46, so I won't be as tight as you, but you're inspiring! Keep at it!
