Worried losing weight would change me...

The worry about personality change is one the before/after photos tend to answer - most people find the person underneath is the same, just without the physical weight of managing a body that's working against them.

Brain space: What DO you even THINK about?

Days 2-4 quiet then days 5-7 louder is the standard weekly cycle at most doses.

    Down 60lbs -- Feeling Great!

60 lbs in 9 months at 15mg staying steady is the long-run result that shows the medication can hold the outcome, not just the drop - the maintenance hold at the same dose is the harder part.

Thanks Lucky_Pizza I'll try increasing my water. Can't hurt, right?

GLP-1s and Acne Flare-Ups? Anyone else?

Thanks for the input everyone! Heal_Girl That's kind of what I figured. MetabolicMindset No B12 or B6 in my shot, so I don't think that's it. Petal Ugh, that's what I was afraid of! How long have you been taking it? Has the acne gotten any better over time, or is it still just as bad?

GLP-1s and Acne Flare-Ups? Anyone else?

Hey everyone, I've been taking a GLP-1 agonist since late summer, and I've dropped around 28 pounds. I feel fantastic and am thrilled with my progress. The only downside is my acne has exploded! It's definitely hormonal (worse before my period, those deep cystic pimples, etc.). I'm pretty sure...

    Sublingual Semaglutide, huh?

Thanks so much for all the replies! I'll def look into the nasal spray idea, Reese_2007, but the sterile water + single use vials seems like the easiest first step for me.

    Sublingual Semaglutide, huh?

Hey everyone, has anyone ever tried taking semaglutide under the tongue? I've read it's possible with certain enhancers that help your body absorb it. I'm allergic to that benzyl alcohol, which makes using those multi-dose vials impossible, and I'd like to get around that.

Pep talk needed! Side effects hitting hard

Oh yeah! I felt so wiped out when I first started. It was like I had no energy to do anything. It did get better after a couple of months, though. Hang in there!

Pep talk needed! Side effects hitting hard

You haven't eaten! Go eat something. On this medication, you need a food plan, or you can get problems from malnutrition. Since you've fasted for a couple of days, take it easy when you eat. Start with broth.

Pep talk needed! Side effects hitting hard

I think it needs time to reach its full potency in your body. They say the fourth dose is when your body hits a stable concentration of the medication. My first week or two were fine, but then I experienced some mild side effects. They faded away, and I haven't had any major issues since...

    GLP-1 Transformation: Worth it?

OMG, you look fantastic! Huge congrats on dropping all that weight; it's super inspiring. Did shedding pounds mess with the look of your tattoos? I'm thinking of getting some ink, but I'm worried they'll end up looking weird if I get them before I lose the weight. Yours look great, though, so...

OK, so I am not the only one noticing the side effects other than scale changes! I tried on an old bra the other day... HUGE difference. Like, the band size went down two settings!
