Maintenance on sema/tirz usually goes one of two ways: drop the dose to the lowest that keeps appetite stable, or extend the interval slowly while watching for rebound. Most people who stop entirely rebound within a few months, so staying on a low maintenance dose is the more durable approach...
A dose reset from a travel gap means 5mg may land better than before. Dropping from 10mg and staying active is worth testing rather than resuming high immediately.
The goal shift from lifting is the right call - scale weight at higher muscle reads differently. Feeling good and the shape changing is the actual metric.
weight loss stalled because my calories were 1800 and needed to be 1500. it's the cals that matter so track if you want real results at 7.5ml. nausea might be blood sugar dropping overnight—keep some electrolytes by bed and sip first thing in the morning.
This group is so great for support. I'm down from 180 to 120 and it's been a journey! Seeing others' progress really keeps me going. Congrats on all your success!
felt that way week 2 but i went from half to one to 1.5 to two and stayed there two weeks. first week was just hunger, week 3 stuff changed, week 4 i'm really watching what and when i eat, taking digestion supplements. feel pretty dialed in now. stay at 2 until it stops working then add more if...
started at 260, sitting at 255 now since early april. running bpc-157 every other day, tb500 weekly, adipotide every other day, plus aod-9604. also on urolithin a, creatine, rhodiola, and a few others.
Right thinking on the long-term view. How fast you get there doesn't matter much. Higher doses make more sense for severe obesity and health issues like high blood pressure or age. At 50 pounds over, lower and slower is fine.
Insurance has to be a major factor. Mine will stop covering it once I'm close to a certain BMI, and I'm almost there. I'm considering wearing heavy things when I get weighed at the doctor.
Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the replies.
I worry about some of the sources I see online. Some of them seem shady.. like the ones for $100 a month. I get nervous about what I'm really getting.
It's great to see your posts, you're all doing so well!
Feeling kinda let down, tbh.
I talked to my doctor about using meds to help manage my weight.
I mentioned that the price seemed too high, and he understood. So, we moved on to other topics.
Then I decided to check my insurance:
Mounjaro and Ozempic: $35 for a month's supply.
Wegovy: $800...
30mg protein shakes (vanilla or chocolate)(from Costco) and non-fat cottage cheese (more protein) are what I eat "before bed" when I need satiety. lol. Your mileage may vary.
To be clear, I get no side effects from survo - never. I only had side effects from the T at the start back in June.
I just don't worry that much about food. I can eat it or not. I know I need it - mainly since I'm also lifting weights to keep muscle, so I need protein which is hard, but the...
I've gone through the exact same thing. Seriously...along with the low dose. My weight has been stable on T and S since last fall. The magic combo was when I didn't increase my T from 7, and did increase my Survo from 1 to 1.7. It's like the clouds parted and suddenly food was different. It's...
