Down 86 lbs! Feeling like a new person!

376 to 290 is already a before-and-after - 86 lbs changes every physical system, not just the mirror. The rest of the journey is easier from here.

    Always Feeling Chilly?!

Feeling cold post-loss is a real physiology shift - body fat is insulation, and 57 lbs down is a meaningful reduction in that layer. The metabolic rate adjustment from caloric restriction adds to it. Both stabilize as the body settles.

Legs then vs now - see a diff?

BMI dropping from 41 to 25 is the kind of change that takes a while to register as real - the visual in legs tells the story more directly than any number.

    GLP-1s and inflammation?

I had some really bad gout attacks the first year on Mounjaro. Luckily, they haven't come back.

    GLP-1s and inflammation?

I have endometriosis, insulin resistance, and a really bad histamine intolerance with heart racing and breathing issues. My blood work always showed high inflammation (CRP over 2.5). All of that is better since I've lost weight and started Mounjaro. My blood work improved, and my symptoms are...

Down 70+ lbs using the magic stick!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a little update. I've been using a certain brand and I'm seeing great results. I'm a 36F, mom of two, and stand at 5'5". Starting weight: around 270 lbs Current weight: a little under 200 lbs The weight came off fast at first, then slowed down around the 210...

    Coming off GLP-1s - tips?

A friend of mine slowly lowered their dose and said once they stopped taking it altogether, they were super hungry for a couple of weeks. But they just dealt with it and the hunger eventually went away, and now they're maintaining without much effort.

Hate my post-weight loss body - anyone else?

Totally agree. I maxed out credit cards. The insurance companies don't care how much it affects your mental health. They only care about the bottom line.

Hate my post-weight loss body - anyone else?

SW: ~275 CW: ~140 I got a panniculectomy on December 3rd at the same time as a diastasis recti/hernia repair. The left side of my abdominal muscles were wrecked during a spinal surgery and there was a huge gap where my intestines were being held together only by scar tissue. It was causing pain...

Hate my post-weight loss body - anyone else?

I'm happy about the weight coming off so quickly. But now I have loose skin and wrinkles, and I really don't like it. I'm a T2D and went on this for blood sugar and A1c, which are now much better. I just don't like how I look now. Anyone else feel like they need to hide?

    Dosing chart madness!

I've heard some peeps stay on .5 for a long time. I heard one person stayed on it for like... a year and a half? And lost like 70 lbs. If it's working, why rush to change it?

    Dosing chart madness!

I'm in a group chat set up by a supplier. She doesn't post often, but when she does, the info is conservative. But the crazy stuff I see offered by other buyers, and the total lack of knowledge in people who are experimenting, is unbelievable and frustrating. I keep telling people to do their...

    Dosing chart madness!

I can just imagine someone constantly running to the bathroom! Low and slow is definitely the way to go. Increase the dose too quickly and you might get side effects you didn't have before.

    Dosing chart madness!

The clinical trial used five doses, increasing every four weeks: 2 mg, 4 mg, 6 mg, 9 mg, and 12 mg. But other researchers I know start lower and find the results they want by topping out at only 2 or 4 mg.

    Dosing chart madness!

Saw a scary dosing schedule floating around another forum for reta. Glad someone asked about it before jumping in. Be careful where you get advice!
