    Down 64, aiming for more!

The anabolic point is technically accurate but a bit reductive in practical weight loss context - what most people are chasing is fat loss with muscle preservation, not net muscle gain, and resistance training with adequate protein handles that effectively without a full anabolic environment...

Retatrutide & other peptides in one shot?

The reta flush response is real and your rosacea is just amplifying something that happens for a lot of people on shot day - vasodilation from the mechanism tends to peak in the first few hours, and most people find it settles between weeks 4-8 as the body adjusts. Cold compress on the face...

Ozempic wins: Same me, better body!

224 to 149 at 24 is a significant metabolic shift and the age works in favor of muscle retention through it. GI regularity on GLP-1s is genuinely underrated as a quality-of-life indicator - the hydration and fiber angle gets less attention than nausea, but it's more persistent for many people.

    My GLP-1 journey (so far!)

Over a year on it, never had loose stool until now. I'm touring Europe and eating different foods — but wow, I'm in the bathroom every couple hours and it's rough. Normally take colace and magnesium at night but stopped a week ago. Getting immodium at the next stop.

    Off the meds! Now what?

skyr blended w/ whey isolate, flaxseed, and berries is my post-meal ritual. solid protein, fiber, vitamins. rotate 3 whey flavors so i don't get bored. been eating it daily for weeks.

Oops, made a GLP-1 food mistake!

When I started on tirz two years back, the thinking was low and slow to avoid loose skin and side effects. You bumped when your dose stopped working. Not sure why losing weight became a speed contest now.

    Sketchy BAC supplier?

This thread 😂😂. I officially lost the boobs after weight loss. Zero complaints—they were annoying anyway. My husband was legit mourning his personal fun bags. On the flip side I've had no ass my whole life. Living in sports bras? Thriving. But it stings nobody ever slid up with a 'Baby got back'...

    Protein on GLP-1s?! Help!

I agree with GastricEmpty - that's a great way to calculate. Also, remember protein is super important. Aiming for at least 1.2g per kg of ideal body weight is a good start. If I hit that, I don't stress as much about calories.

Went back down on my dose!?

That's really good to know! Thanks Dose_of_Reality. I've been wondering about that too since I've been considering going even lower than 5mg, but I don't want to waste any of my pens.

Went back down on my dose!?

I agree just see what happens, hopefully it works out. You don't have to up the dose every month. I've been on 5mg for like 14 months now and it's still working great.

    Protein on GLP-1s?! Help!

My nutritionist recommended 100g daily because I'm seeing really good results and lift weights. It helps prevent muscle loss when you're losing weight quickly, which is important for reducing loose skin. It's a struggle every day though. I have a 42g Core Power Elite shake for lunch at work...

    Protein on GLP-1s?! Help!

Fairlife 2% milk has extra protein. It's supposed to be okay for those with lactose issues. Many stores make their own versions as well. I'm not a milk fan, but I've been heating it up and adding instant coffee in the mornings.

Went back down on my dose!?

Hey everyone, my doc put me on Zepbound (SW: 295lbs). Since October I've managed to drop around 48lbs, but it feels like after the initial 2.5mg and 5mg doses, the higher ones just haven't been effective. Since January, my weight has been bouncing around between 246lbs and 255lbs. I'm not...

    5A1MQ experiences?

Hey Sarah56, I saw someone talking about BPC-157 for a torn calf muscle online. They were icing it, using compression, and taking Advil. Their pain was a 10/10 initially. After about 5 days of adding BPC-157, they felt like it was improving a lot. Might be worth looking into for your own situation!

    5A1MQ experiences?

That's exactly what I was planning to do when my 5 Am is gone. Still need to get the ss31 though. I've been doing up to 2mg of 5 Am, about 5 days a week for over a month. I am 3 weeks into NAD, just upped it to 50 mg twice a week. I definitely feel a boost on NAD days. I'm really just using it...

Down 76 lbs, now size 0! Pics!

Totally agree with A1C_Survivor about the skin thing. I'm down a significant amount myself, and while the health benefits are incredible, dealing with the extra skin is a real thing. Thinking about options too.

Down 76 lbs, now size 0! Pics!

That's truly amazing. Losing 76 lbs at 4'11 is a huge accomplishment. Going from an 18 to a 0 is unreal, but what's even better is how happy you seem. You earned this. Best of luck with the tummy tuck and enjoy the next part of your journey.

Thanks for the clarification @Alice TFC. Mistakes happen, appreciate you addressing it directly.

    Jano lab report weird?

Just to be clear, the links only go to the T30 report, right? No T60 report to be found? That'd be enough to make me look elsewhere.

    GLP-1s and bone health?

Nope, got them through insurance. Looks like I'm getting them every 3 years now. Maybe with your osteopenia diagnosis, they'll increase how often you get them, but improvement takes time. I found out about my osteopenia after a fall... ended up with a messed-up fracture that needed a huge plate.
