    Couples who slim together...

Thanks everyone for the love! To answer Carb_Story's question, I started at 2.5mg and slowly went up to 10mg over about 5 months. The weight came off pretty steadily, but I also made changes to my diet and exercise routine.

    Couples who slim together...

It's been incredible seeing how much weight loss with tirzepatide has transformed my relationship! I've dropped about 60 pounds (5'10", started at 240, now 180), and he's down around 25 (6'0", started at 200, now 175) just by changing his diet a bit. Instead of lazy weekends with unhealthy food...

Ozempic Gave Me a Second Chance!

I love seeing these progress stories! It's not just about the numbers, but about the confidence that comes with feeling healthier and happier. Remember, anyone who tries to diminish your success because of the method you chose is just projecting their own insecurities.

Ozempic Gave Me a Second Chance!

The "Old You" is absolutely amazing! The strength it took to start and keep going, even when it felt hard...that's inspiring. You're already honoring her by taking care of "New You." So happy for you both!

    Food noise creepin' back!

I'm finding that I don't even enjoy food that much anymore. I've kinda stopped caring about food, and it used to be the main focus of my life. So weird.

    Food noise creepin' back!

I've had the same thing happen – intense hunger a couple of days after my shot. I figured out it was tied to what I was eating. If I ate more carbs or sugar than usual (even a little), it made the hunger come back. It doesn't happen when I mostly stick to protein, veggies, and plenty of water.

    Who knows about your GLP-1?

It's interesting how people react. I read that some people are asked if they're on drugs or had surgery after losing weight. I think some folks just can't believe it's possible without extreme measures.

    Who knows about your GLP-1?

The only reason some folks don't know is they haven't asked. I'm not keeping it a secret. I don’t want people thinking I’m doing something I’m not, like killing myself at the gym and starving. People notice the weight loss and ask (which is fine), so I tell them the truth.

    Who knows about your GLP-1?

Only my husband and a couple of close pals are in the know. When people comment on my shrinking size, I just say I'm making healthier choices. I kinda feel bad not sharing what's really helping, but it also feels like my medical deets are my own business.

    Ozempic - anyone else blindsided?!

The sulfur burps are common on Ozempic. Magnesium Glycinate might help with the energy dips, but take it at night before bed.

    Ozempic - anyone else blindsided?!

Dropping my love for beer was a shock. But wetting the bed was more shocking.

Oops - Tirz in the fridge, not freezer!

I agree with InsulinResistanceGuy. More education is always good, especially when you're first starting.

Oops - Tirz in the fridge, not freezer!

Yeah, probably not a big deal. But freezer is the way to go!
