    Enough with the protein craze?

The official FDA Recommended Daily Allowance for protein is only 0.36 grams per pound of body weight. A lot of people are surprised when they find out that. The body building world often recommends much much more.

    Oral GLP-1s: Thoughts?

Hi LightTale, there are benefits and drawbacks. The meds can lead to significant weight loss, but they aren't for cosmetic reasons; they're for people with health issues related to their weight. Possible risks and side effects should always be carefully considered.

    Oral GLP-1s: Thoughts?

Keep in mind that oral GLP-1s might offer better acceptance and adherence for some patients. It's all about choosing the right tool for the individual.

    7 months on Oz...eyesight issues?

I saw a report that GLP-1s can also curb alcohol cravings. Has anyone else noticed that?

    7 months on Oz...eyesight issues?

Did the change in skin color also come from the medicine?

    7 months on Oz...eyesight issues?

What dosage were you taking when you noticed the vision changes? Also, did you have a workout routine? I'm on 0.25 for 4 months now and only shed about 13 pounds, feeling a bit down about it.

Oops - Tirz in the fridge, not freezer!

I've been seeing more about compounded GLP-1s lately. Anyone know anything about the safety/legality of those?

Oops - Tirz in the fridge, not freezer!

I doubt it's even that much. Some companies are shipping stuff that's been sitting at room temp for months. Most peptides can handle room temp for quite a while, like maybe even a year. It would be interesting to see some of that older stuff tested to see how much it actually degrades.

    Am I doing this right?

There is a good calculator for peptide dosing here:

    Am I doing this right?

Each dose is 1/4 of the vial so it's 1/4 of the liquid you add. If you use a 1ml/100 unit syringe, you'd have four 25 unit doses. Adding a lot of water just means injecting more liquid, but it's still the same amount of medication.

Dose strength vs vial weight - make sense?

I've heard of people having bad reactions to peptides. One person I know took a peptide and felt like they had the flu within minutes.

Dose strength vs vial weight - make sense?

Research is fun! You paid for testing. Now pin it and see what happens. Since more testing isn't an option.

That lab has a reputation for inaccurate results. Check out the European forums for more info.

Tirz... I think I goofed it up :(

About the dosage calcs, I saw someone asking about semaglutide mixing: "What is the proper amount of bacteriostatic water for a 5mg vial? And how much do you inject?" Someone pointed them to this calculator: https://www.peptides.org/semaglutide-dosage-calculator-and-chart/

Tirz... I think I goofed it up :(

Okay, so after you mix it up, how long is it good for? I saw some stuff saying it's only safe for 28 days, then you gotta toss it. Anyone know how long tirz is good for after mixing?

Tirz... I think I goofed it up :(

That's not usually a problem. Some vials just aren't vacuum sealed.

Tirz... I think I goofed it up :(

Well, a few things could be happening. Maybe you need to increase your dose by more than just 1mg. It's also possible the vial wasn't filled correctly, so you didn't actually get 8.5mg. Or, it could just be that every dose is different, and it'll take a couple of doses at 8.5mg for the hunger to...

    Ozempic success?!

I think of these meds like blood pressure medication – something you might need long-term. Talk to your doctor, of course.
