I've been on Mounjaro for a little under a month. I'm eating less because it's Ramadan, and so far I'm not really having any side effects besides some mild nausea and a touch of constipation. I'm trying not to obsess over the scale. I'm more focused on how my clothes fit.

Speaking of costs, did you all see that Novo Nordisk is supposedly cutting prices on Wegovy and Ozempic? I read about it on Reddit: Of course, there's a catch... the cuts aren't until 2027 and require insurance. Still, it's a step in the right direction.

When you consider the challenges many of us faced before these medications, and the likelihood of a reduced lifespan for some, some of these concerns seem minor. Plus, the long-term cost savings would be substantial, so the government should be giving these out like candy.
