    Suddenly I'm...visible?

I’ve lost about 65 pounds, doing hard-core yoga every other day and finally starting to look a little toned (considering I'm over 50). In the last few months, several times I’ve had women my age smile at me when I'm out shopping. Never used to happen-- I was basically invisible. More people-...

    Pen looks a little full...normal?

Some report varying effects based on the injection site. Some find better appetite suppression in the abdomen, while others find smoother effects in the thigh. Rotating injection sites is advisable to prevent irritation. I always log where I inject so I don't forget.

Mounjaro pen clicks - how many?

Each kwikpen has about 260 clicks, give or take. How much you waste during priming will affect the total. If you get good needles, you don't need to prime much at all. A tiny drop means it's ready. Then, extract the rest with a syringe to be precise. Like this one...

    Pen looks a little full...normal?

I always notice a little bit of medicine left in mine. Usually there's enough to test the needle before each dose.

    Battling the Nausea Rollercoaster

To add to my experience, I really struggled with electrolyte imbalances alongside the nausea. I found that supplementing with electrolytes really helped! I was using a sugar free hydration product, but I got tired of it.

    Battling the Nausea Rollercoaster

Honestly, sometimes throwing up made me feel so much better. That initial month is brutal. The nausea came back when the dose was increased, but it wasn't nearly as intense.

Before & After on GLP-1s: What to Expect

Thank you for such a thoughtful overview. To add a clinical perspective: as body fat decreases, circulating leptin levels fall, which can increase hunger independent of medication dose. So does not always mean treatment failure. Before increasing dose, I usually suggest patients review: -...

    Done already?

That's not really how these medications work. It is usually intended as a long-term therapy, unless you're okay with potentially regaining the weight in the future...

    Insulin Cream? No More Injections?

It's concerning how many people disregard basic sterile procedures, even in the peptide scene. Someone was prepping injectables on a dirty kitchen counter, cat hair everywhere...unbelievable.

    Insulin Cream? No More Injections?

I'd prefer something like a transdermal patch. A cream seems like it could easily transfer to others unintentionally. Imagine accidental exposure, or even intentional misuse. www.sciencealert.com
