    Don't tell people I'm on a GLP-1 🤪

People really do just ask for advice and then get upset when you give it to them honestly. I stopped trying to sugar coat things after a while because it doesn't help anyone.

Down half my start weight -- wow!

I've noticed a lot of posts lately about people restarting meds after stopping. Makes me wonder about long-term maintenance... I worry about muscle loss too. It seems like a lot of people don’t realize it until it's too late.

I've always been kinda scared of the gastric sleeve, even though it's come up as an option for me. Seeing it work for you is great! Congrats!

    Finally broke 300!

Just started GLP-1s? Definitely talk to your pharmacist. It calmed my nerves a ton. A lot of people have minimal side effects, so try not to stress too much! Listen to your body – how you feel after eating certain foods or amounts of food. If you get nauseous, ask your doctor for a prescription.

    Tirz to Reta... advice?

If he's truly eating 1600-1800 calories and burning 2500, he should be losing weight. Make sure you're tracking everything accurately. Are you weighing his food? Eyeballing portions can be deceiving.

    Tirz to Reta... advice?

Have you calculated his basal metabolic rate? At my height, light activity, and weight, my BMR is around 1,800 calories a day. I'm losing weight on 1,200 calories daily. He needs a calorie deficit. He shouldn't be hungry on Tirz! I had to lower my dose from 15mg because I wasn't hungry. He...

Back/hip pain on Tirz - anyone else?

Be careful where you get it from. There are some reputable compounding pharmacies that are more reliable. If you can get Vyleesi, that might be better than PT-141.

Back/hip pain on Tirz - anyone else?

I've read that Ipamorelin is pretty effective on its own for boosting IGF-1 and muscle pumps without the hunger pangs of some other GHRPs. Might be worth looking into before stacking.

Back/hip pain on Tirz - anyone else?

Okay, so not peptide-related, but I work as an acupuncturist IRL. I treat back and hip pain all day. If you're near a bigger city, there's likely community acupuncture places where people get treated in a shared space for cheap.

Life After GLP-1s - Anyone Else?

That's a common experience. Some people find that a lower maintenance dose, spaced further apart, helps manage that hunger without the side effects of a full dose. Have you considered that?
