Mice getting all the good stuff?

I wanted to say how much I value what you bring to the discussions here—thanks! I'm wary of AI LLMs pulling weird, unreliable info, but this seems useful for assessing the odds of human effectiveness. Does it provide its sources? I'm curious about Gemini's take on a synthetic...

    Neat syringe disposal gadgets!

I've been using sema since mid-2025 and have lost about 55 pounds so far. Usually, I don't have any issues, but I had a rough trip recently. I've learned that the stress of travel can mess with your gut. All the changes to your schedule and hydration can cause problems. Now I take protein shakes...

Reta fatigue: Does it ever lift?

People are also reporting less desire for alcohol while on these meds. Apparently, it can help curb addictions. It all has to do with dopamine rushes. There's also some evidence of anhedonia, which points to a bigger impact on the reward system, not just food.

Reta fatigue: Does it ever lift?

I had about 8-12 days of feeling tired on reta, mostly early on. It got better over maybe 3-5 days. So, yes, it usually goes away (at least, that's what happened for me).

    Neat syringe disposal gadgets!

I have the clipper, and it's fantastic! I cut the needle from the syringe, recap the syringe and put the capped syringe inside a plastic water bottle.

I didn't see the yellow model the last time I looked! I need one of those, too. The yellow one can stay at home, and the blue one can go in my luggage and travel bag.

    UK weight loss drug bust...scary?

It's concerning that regulators are getting involved. It might be more about money than safety, if you catch my meaning. I hope quality compounding pharmacies like those in my area can keep operating.

    Neat syringe disposal gadgets!

Hey everyone, I just bought an interesting product. It's a small container made by Amonior that snips off the needle of insulin syringes and stores them safely. It says it will hold as many needles as thirty of those larger red biohazard containers. Seems like a great way to save some room!

    UK weight loss drug bust...scary?

If you think 'jab' is weird, you should hear what they call cigarettes in other countries.

    UK weight loss drug bust...scary?

Something's missing from that story. The recent clinical trials had doses up to 16mg and no deaths occurred. No diagnosis during hospitalization either. No cause of death.

    UK weight loss drug bust...scary?

Ugh, now all their customers are going to be scrambling. I hope this doesn't mean more attention on social media and even more shutdowns of overseas suppliers.

    Belly Injections After Gallbladder Gone?

Just to add to what On_Deck said, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections mainly differ in needle size. The absorption rate is generally the same, so claims otherwise are often anecdotal.

    Belly Injections After Gallbladder Gone?

Me too! Gallbladder's been gone since '06, and I started Ozempic in May. Only do belly shots.

    Down 60 Pounds Since Spring!

I was reading on another forum about how these meds can have a positive effect on insulin sensitivity. It’s really encouraging to see those non-scale victories!
