    Sema's really working!

I've been struggling with my weight since my daughter was born. PCOS makes it so hard! Seems like no matter what, I was stuck. But semaglutide has totally changed everything! Started at 180, now I'm 139, and my goal is 135. I'm 5'3".

Ozempic Journey - Thoughts after 1.5 Years

Hey everyone! So, back in late summer 2023, I started on Ozempic 'cause of my PCOS, elevated BP, and prediabetes, all genetic and made worse by PCOS. I was around 330 lbs then, and now I'm hovering around 260. I'd say it's a win, and so does my doc. I'm off my blood pressure meds now, and my...

My hubby mentioned that his craving for alcohol is gone too. Is this a possible alcoholism treatment?

    Plateau at 7.5mg... now what?

It's weird to think you're gonna hit your goal on such small amounts. Or just stay where you are and be happy, I guess.

    Plateau at 7.5mg... now what?

Ok, got it, you mentioned considering another med. Obviously it's working since you've dropped a good amount of weight. There's no receptor flooding, that's just not true. The appetite control will fade over time, according to the main researcher. More medication, more effect, to a point...

    Plateau at 7.5mg... now what?

So you've been at 7.5mg for over a month, hit a wall, and you wanna drop back to the lowest dose, or add another med? That's weird logic.

    Aunt Flo's surprise visit?!

I am a newbie to this, but I've been having constipation issues too! I'm gonna try prunes. Someone said to eat like 4 or 5 prunes a day and you should notice a change. Fingers crossed!

    Aunt Flo's surprise visit?!

Don't be too hard on yourself Flex_Happy - sounds like ovulation pain which can be really painful. Sometimes when the egg is released, there is bleeding in the abdomen. Blood in the abdomen is extremely irritating and painful. There can be severe pain and bloating, lasting around 1-2 days.

GLP-1: Ride it out or Lifer?

I see this question a lot on Reddit and I always answer the same way, with science. You can change your eating habits and exercise, staying at your TDEE to avoid weight gain. But it's super hard because it's not just a lifestyle issue, it's about metabolism. Take a look at this study...
