    Cycling on & off GLP-1s - safe?

some weeks i swear the suppression just vanishes—like i shot nothing. then boom, it's back. freaked me out the first time but now i know it's just how things cycle. haven't heard of anyone losing it all while staying on, so i'm cool with it.

    Dose escalation: be bold?

Technically you might not know until tomorrow morning. The half-life is short but effects linger, so a 0.5mg+ top-up might be smarter than a full dose within 24 hours. 2mg seems too high for anyone. As a guy, I'd stick to 1-1.5mg max within 24 hours. The dosing is the biggest PT-141 issue since...

Coming off GLP-1s... anyone else nervous?

if you're still snacking try 2mg next week - that's the starting dose in trials. by then your serum levels stabilize and the med's more consistent each week. might not need higher doses unless hunger comes back or you plateau. i personally topped out at 3mg and spent most of my 12-week run at 2mg.

i log every dose, date, side effects, weight, and dose changes in a txt file so i can track everything and find patterns again.

Mounjaro pen holders - anyone else?

Following up on that's a great idea! I'd worry about temperature fluctuations during travel; a dedicated sensor compartment is smart.

Mounjaro pen holders - anyone else?

I like the four-pen option for travel, but could it be insulated at all?

Slow & Steady Wins the Race?

My progress has been gradual as well. I've been on something similar for about a year now, and I've only dropped around 30 pounds. Went from 230 to just under 200. I'm looking and feeling better, and my blood sugar is way better. I just wish it was faster!

    Super scared newb here lol

I recall reading a reminder, and it was about how we don't need to eat the whole plate of food. I need to remember that. I feel like I still eat more than I need to sometimes!

Thanks, everyone, for the feedback! goal-weight-or-bust, yes, my doctor wants me on both meds for now.

    Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

That's not necessarily true for everyone. Some research suggests that after using these medications, some people experience lasting changes in their appetite regulation, even after stopping. Everyone responds differently.

    Just started Oz... fingers crossed!

I'm glad to see more people are starting on this medication. It's wild how many folks don't realize obesity is a real medical issue. Congrats on taking charge of your health!

I didn’t have a ton of weight to lose but it really did help lessen cravings and calm inflammation.

Just started Oz... is this normal?

Hi all. I (41f, 6' 1", 315lbs) was just prescribed .25mg Ozempic this week and took my first dose 2 nights ago. My doctor prescribed it for T2 Diabetes. I’m also taking Metformin 2000mg daily, which I’ve been doing for over a year. For the past 48 hours, I’ve had zero appetite. I feel hunger...

    Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

Maybe try not relying on motivation so much. I’m over a year into this process and I basically just force myself to do the steps, day after day. Motivation is just a bonus if I happen to have it.

Had my 2nd injection yesterday, and I'm really struggling to even drink a liter of water 😭

    Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

This is a pretty typical complaint I hear about these meds. The appetite suppression is amazing for losing weight, but it can also kill your motivation for food and working out. If you're not getting enough calories, it makes sense that your drive to train would diminish. If you're feeling...
