    Down 45lbs since April! Wooot!

Wild how varied outcomes get. Started same time, only lost 16. Huge congrats on your result though!

    J5 and PAE... anyone?

Exactly. It is always best practice to obtain peptides through a certified compounding pharmacy to ensure product quality and sterility.

Updated on my mother's medicare ozempic cost - now free out of pocket. All her prescriptions came through with zero cost.

    J5 and PAE... anyone?

Yes, both are reasonably well recognized.

A year later, down 100+ pounds!

To those who are losing slowly, remember that slow and steady wins the race. Less sagging skin and potentially fewer side effects are huge benefits!

    Need bac water, quick!

For those of you using bacteriostatic water for your peptides, have you tried acetic acid? Studies show it prolongs the shelf life for certain peptides.

    Almost there! Need a boost!

For portion control, try using a smaller plate. Like a salad plate instead of a dinner plate. Tell yourself you can always get seconds, but try a smaller amount first. It can help!

    Almost there! Need a boost!

I'm relatively new to this, so I can't give much advice. Just remember this isn't a race. And you look incredible! Congrats on your amazing progress!

    Need bac water, quick!

You could also look into bac sodium chloride. It works for most peptides and is usually easier to find.

    Almost there! Need a boost!

Amazing! You've done so well. Keep in mind you didn't gain the weight overnight, so getting rid of it takes time too. It took me a year to get rid of 90 pounds, then another 6 months for about 20! The tail end is always slow. Just take each day as it comes. Remember all you've achieved. Little...

    Need bac water, quick!

I bought a whole case from a medical supply company. The site said I needed a license, but they never asked for it. I got it pretty fast.

    Reta: Split Doses vs. Weekly?

For those who are experiencing decreased libido, it seems to be a possible side effect.

    Reta: Split Doses vs. Weekly?

I can't explain the mechanism, but I was split dosing when I hit a plateau on Reta at 12mg. I switched to once a week and started losing again. I lost about 10 more pounds before plateauing again. But I lost 90 pounds split dosing in about a year. I prefer split dosing for how it feels.

    Reta makin' me needle shy?

I agree about protein intake! I emphasize protein with all my patients who are on GLP-1 meds for weight loss. It helps preserve muscle mass during rapid weight loss. The "Ozempic face" some people are talking about is usually just a result of losing a lot of fat in the face, which can make...

    Reta makin' me needle shy?

My vitamin D level is high and I still get allodynia. I just have to dial back the RETA dose sometimes. It moves around on me. Started on my face at first. I reduced my dose until it was gone, and then didn't feel it again for a few months until I went up in dose. Then someone suggested...

    Reta makin' me needle shy?

I wish I lost weight so easily! I stall out after a couple weeks at each dose. Going up 2mg this week since I'm gaining again and the allodynia is gone. Going from Mon 2, Wed 2, Fri 3 to Mon 3, Wed 3, Friday 3. I have two 30mg vials left, if I don't have better results by the time they are gone...

    Reta makin' me needle shy?

That sounds like allodynia. You might try dropping back a little on the dose until it fades. I usually see it happen when people are at higher doses or go up too fast. Happened to me at 8mg/week total. I switched to 2mg Mon, Wed, and 3mg Fri and it went away. Maybe try 1mg a week, or splitting...
