Sema or Tirz: Which to try first?

Responded far better to tirzepatide. Was honestly starting to wonder if this whole GLP-1 thing was overhyped. Found a new doctor who switched me to zepbound, and once I hit the right amount, everything clicked. From what I understand, everyone's chemistry is different. Might be worth trying...

    Lost 60+ pounds this year!

You're going to be thrilled you took this step. Shedding weight is just one piece of what this medication delivers. Love scrolling through the before and after shots people share here, so many inspiring stories. Wishing you the best on this path. Dropped 70 pounds myself and kept it off two...

    New to GLP-1s? Start Here

Pretty sure everybody feels nervous starting a GLP-1 for the first time. Back in December 2025 I began one brand, then for insurance reasons my doctor switched me to the other (literally identical medication, just approved under different labels for different uses). Won't lie, starting either...

    Leftover doses - anyone else?

Wait, is that meant for one pen stretched across four uses? Could someone break that down? Mine's still in transit.

Reta plateau at week 10 - dose up?

Bump the dose up, just not right before a vacation. An all-inclusive trip is basically guaranteed to add some weight back regardless.

    Ozempic & Constipation Relief?

Back off the fiber a bit and try a laxative solution instead. Enough of that produces looser stools without the harsh bloating that comes from digesting extra fiber.

    Still fighting the mental game...

Three years in for me. Never gone back to how I felt beforehand. There's definitely a new baseline now with the medication in the picture, though getting there predictably took more than twelve months since I ramped the dose up gradually.

    Sema vs Tirz: Anyone Switching?

Made the jump to Tirz after stalling hard on Sema. No break between doses. Tirz runs at a lower amount but delivers way better on both appetite control and actual weight loss! Month one down, 3 pounds gone, zero side effects so far.

Struggling for every. single. pound. Anyone else?

Sounds a lot like my situation. Started at 215, began in early January at 2mg, first couple weeks dropped 5 then 4 pounds, mostly water I'm sure. Mostly held to a four-week rotation, extended one or two steps that were performing especially well out to six, currently sitting at 9mg. Original...

    Pep Math got me stumped!

The med spa pricing at $450/month for reta compounded through a 503a is actually on the mid-range end for clinical settings. The indirect answer about sourcing is typical for practices that can't directly discuss the supply chain. The math question on dosing is worth working through - what...

    Down a C-note + New Job!

100 pounds maintained four months out and a degree done - that combination takes real momentum. The drug test point is valid for the new position; GLP-1s don't flag anything standard, but the broader stack is worth a quick check depending on the test scope.

    Too Many Injections?

Hospira confirmation is the standard most people rely on for BAC sourcing.

Wow, almost a year on the magic juice!

Almost a year through the nausea and side effect phase and still going is the part that doesn't show up in the before/after post. The 7k daily walks and nutrition discipline behind the number is what holds when the medication levels out. Dedicated is exactly the right word.

    Need bac water, quick!

I did the same! This place talks down on F1nnr1ck but you can send a vial for free to see the mass and purity. Endotoxin test is like $110 extra. I ordered from China first and felt sketched not knowing what I had. At least get tested to see if you got overfilled or underfilled.

    Talking GLP-1s with Your Doctor

if you fainted see your primary care doc, not the forum. sounds like a gi infection from the cruise. that's rough. seriously, call your real doctor.

    Hit my goal weight!!

curious if anyone lives near the border and is thinking about driving to canada to grab the new generic glp1? never done it. would love to know about the process if anyone's done it—how to get a prescription filled there?

    Tirz dose not working? Help!

that combo actually makes sense. contrave plus metformin with mounjaro 15 hits differently when you've got serious insulin resistance. empagliflozin works on a different angle too. get a full metabolic workup with an endocrinologist if you haven't. they're worth the visit.

    GLP-1 & No Results?!

on 5mg tirz for about a year now. dropped 20 lbs, hit a wall after a couple months tbh. just at that weird line between overweight and obese. been dealing with life stuff but trying to get meals back on track. slow and steady is the move.

Is my weight loss too slow?

Body fights back to its set point — resists loss thinking starvation's coming. I bumped protein and vary calories daily (range 1300–1800). Hit my macros and work out 3–4 times a week for fitness, not the scale. Helps keep momentum.

    330 Down To 180! Whoo!

after the first week or two the flushing calmed down. sometimes i still feel a tiny bit but it went away pretty quick once i understood what was happening.
