    Low dose success!

The 'taking it from diabetics' framing is both medically wrong and based on a false scarcity assumption - supply decisions are made at the manufacturer and insurance level, not by individual users. PCOS is a metabolic condition with direct clinical overlap with the medication's mechanism, and...

    OMG I did it!

116kg to below 76kg is an incredible number. The first time seeing that 7 as the leading digit is such a milestone moment. Stay positive is exactly right - you know what you're doing at this point. Get it!!

Ate too much on Sema? Help!

the two protein shakes plus the single main meal structure is one of the cleaner approaches for hitting high protein targets on a very compressed eating window - the shakes cover the muscle preservation requirement at the times when food isn't going in, and the meal provides everything else...

    Just started my injections today!

The bedtime timing switch for GI tolerance is the most common early adjustment - the side effect window hits while you are asleep and passes before you wake up. One headache that resolves is an encouraging first experience overall.

    Cool new lab tray!

The transition from syringe to pen system has a learning curve that video handles much better than text descriptions - the sequence of filling, filtering, and capping varies enough between hardware types that watching someone do it first makes the first attempt much cleaner.

    GLP-1s changed my life!

The 60 lbs before the medication is the part of the story that deserves recognition too. So many people did serious work before starting and the results on top reflect both. Great progress.

Brain space: What DO you even THINK about?

The split dose approach giving a better sweet spot is a useful protocol note for the OP who's noticing the day 5-7 hunger rebound. Timing variation can smooth out the weekly curve better than just going higher on the dose. What's the sweet spot you landed on and how long did it take to find it?

Sweet cravings on tirzepatide? Anyone else?

A month in on 4mg Reta with Tirz running alongside is a good position to see where the sweet cravings piece lands. The appetite suppression on the Reta side tends to handle sweet cravings differently than Tirz does for a lot of people.

    Ozempic success...now what?

Amazing result! The fear of stopping is real - how long have you been on it and are you still on the same dose you ended with? Most people here plan to stay on maintenance rather than stopping entirely.

    Gaining weight back on Ozempic!?

3 years on Ozempic and then gaining 15 in a year before switching to Mounjaro - that's the long-term tolerance picture. 5 lbs on Mounjaro at 5mg moving to 7.5 is the early stage where most of the response kicks in. For the OP at 5 months and seeing the scale go the wrong way, the dose and the...

Food noise is back - help!

The suppression returning on the 0.25 bump after a strong first month is a common pattern - some people find 0.2 is the actual effective dose for them and the jump isn't needed. Staying where noise is controlled rather than chasing a higher number tends to give better long-term outcomes.

Generic Ozempic in Canada - Coming Soon?

Generic sema timelines have slipped before. The Canadian market tends to follow US approvals by 12-18 months, so FDA finalization is the better guide than domestic pharmacy estimates.

    Tirz appetite suppression TOO strong?

No appetite suppression at 4 months is the other end of the range - both extremes exist.

    BAC Water Armageddon?

Hundreds of barrels and needles lying around. Easy Touch 29-30 g is like $8-9 but honestly I don't have a single 29-30 in the pile. Use 1/2 inch 29 gauge 0.5 mL insulin syringes. 29 draws faster than 30. Warm the vial in water while brushing teeth or doing other stuff.

    Food doesn't run me anymore!

Sometimes I toss stuff because I don't want any longer or nothing appeals to me anymore-straight in the trash. Never would have done that before.

Down six kilos in seventy days. Felt like I was falling behind but thank you for the push.

    Weed, cravings, and GLP-1s

low doses gave me excellent appetite suppression at first. stayed that way until about 2mg per week. food noise is solid the whole time but now at 5mg the suppression is great again. exhaustion came back though and eating more just makes it worse. gonna hold here and see how it plays out.

    Down a stone! WOOHOO!

6 months in but microdosing so I don't end up with loose skin. Down 15 in that time. Hard to accept slow progress when you just wanna hit goal weight, but slow and steady is supposedly the play.

    Dose Day Eve Shenanigans!

Lost a dose once, so I switched to nine-day scheduling for a few shots to make up for it.
